  1. I didn't even realize BET was still a channel.
  2. Mel made a little mistake Burkhead is the #5 fullback It's a shame J. Crick didn't make the list. Yeah, for real. How did he not? I would love to see 5 Defensive tackles named that had better stats than him this past year.
  3. Heard that the Lions don't have a ton of interest in Suh, FWIW. Of course not, they are looking for their 10th first round QB. Wasn't last year the first time in 5 years or so the Lions didn't pick a wide receiver in the 1st round?
  4. Would we still take Suntrup even with Turner committing?
  5. P.J. Smith and Corey Cooper. Sounds like an All American safety duo if I've ever heard one.
  6. I don't see why this looks bad for us? Owamagbe said from the start of things that he was more than likely going to announce on signing day. I think a lot of you got this delusional thought in your head that because he said if it felt right, he might commit to a school earlier than that, that it cemented it as fact. Truth is, he's doing exactly what he had intended to do all along. So, why would that spell disaster for us? He had a great in home with Bo and the coaches and obviously loves everything about us. If he's going to pick us, he's going to pick us, timeframe has nothing to do with it.
  7. I couldn't stand the guy if we're being honest here. He's a husker through and through, but I'd find myself getting very annoyed while watching him on Big Red Wrap Up. He's routinely mess up someone's name or say something that wasn't true, and what he was talking about, was common sense stuff that anyone would know. Thanks for your service Mr. Fiala.
  8. Didn't he say that he isn't announcing until signing day anyway? We have about 11 days to go people. Calm yourselves.
  9. I forgot about Randle. Wow, we definitely have some depth on the D-line, don't we? In spite of Randle's potential, I don't see him getting significant PT till 2011. Did he get any PT last season? He redshirted last season.
  10. That wasn't his last speech as a Nebraska Cornhusker. Ndamukong Suh will forever be a cornhusker. He gave his blood, sweat and tears to the Nebraska faithful for 5 years. The guy will always be a Husker. No matter what helmet he puts on in the NFL.
  11. Losing Chris Williams sucks...but if a kid doesn't have his head in the game and the books and is more focused on doing drugs, he's doing more damage to the team as a whole. I don't know if this is true, but if it is...good riddance.
  12. His mom also probably liked UCLA because that school is freaking AWESOME!!! Okay, I'm a bit biased since that's my alma mater. I would love to have gone to UCLA.................the cheerleaders alone would have sold me! I AM TRANSFERRING TO UCLA Is that asian girl at the bottom topless??? Nice!! (disclaimer: For the cynics....I know she's not.)
  13. Was he there by himself? Just flyin' solo in downtown Portland?
  14. Hey man, I appreciate all your insightful comments about Husker basketball. You know your stuff. Not enough people on here appreciate or are into basketball like they are football. It's almost kinda sad, if you can support one husker sport so passionately, why not all of them? It's nice to know there's another husker hoops lover out there. Anyway, my observations of this team so far is that they are young and inexperienced (obvious), but there is a lot of potential. This is one of those teams that will take its lumps this year but then develop enough depth to make a run at the sweet 16 next year. Jeter, QHC, Holley, CS, Gallegos, Diaz and Ubel will all get better. We'll get Toney McCray back and Brandon Richardson will continue to be a solid sixth man. I'm hoping for the best this year, but next year is when the Big 12 really needs to take notice.
  15. you are still batting .000. Nice work. I am to you, and to me, that means nothing. Who knows what goes on in your head. Glad I don't.
  16. No, I figured you were laughing at me, however, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt by saying you were laughing at what you were saying, because if you go through this entire brain killing bicker, I've said nothing that would warrant you to laugh at me. Just stuff that puts you in your place. People on this board do this to you all the time, and then your little 5 year old defene mechanism turns on and you start spouting little one liners with a laughing icon to try and make it sound like you're the superior in this. I'll give it to ya. You win the argument of me...not spelling...quarterback or something....nice job. Way to point it out.
