I agree with your statement about the offense but that was last week and with Wats the only thing consistent about him is his inconsistency. I hope he can put two consecutive game plans together but he always plays so conservative in big games.

I would say yes, we ran relied on the zone read way to much. I would prefer to see the base offense be the I-Formation and sprinkle in the zone read. With the I-Formation IMO you can do so much more. ISO's, blasts, traps, counters, sweeps, pitch, midline, freeze, power, counter, reverse and triple option. Amd from the passing game you have play action, boots, waggles, option passes etc. And if ran right the I-Formation is truly the only formation that makes a defense defend the hole field. They have to honor the FB, IB, QB, TE and the flats, middle, and deep field in the passing tree.

Not sure what I am seeing but it seems the DE's are to maintain containment but not collapse,the DL's are to maintain their lanes like a kick off team which helps in cutting off the cut back lanes but it also eliminates the DL from penetrating.

It was a knee jerk reaction from a coaching staff that has proven themselves panicky in big games. He is a RS Freshman that is going to have growing pains and needs the experience to get better.

The truth about the separation of church and state has been so misunderstood. It was based off of churches like the Anglican Church who persecuted other denominations like Baptists, Methodists, and Presbyterians. It had nothing to do with praying or talking about God in public/govt buildings. The purpose of the legislation was to ensure that the government would never again force citizens to attend a state-controlled church such as happened in Virginia. I am confident that James Madison is disappointed by the modern interpretation of his legislation

That had to be the most pointless article I have ever read.

He may be boring to listen to as a fan, but you must admit that he's pretty fun to watch when he's coaching.

I am old enough to remember the 1978 game, and all the other memorable moments in this rivalry since then. But I am over it. OU decided to move on when the Big 12 was started and I think it's time NU decides to do the same. The Big 10 holds a bright future for us with plenty of rivalries brewing.

As long as the D-line sits or clogs their gap we shouldn't need to stack the box, unless Bo wants to just for fun.

As stated above, if we can jump on them quick and force them to throw we should be okay. I just keep having nightmares watching SDSU O and D-lines dominate and do not want to see this game come down to a slug fest at the LOS.

Stats and records mean nothing in this game. KSU will bring their A++++ game, no doubt about it. This will be a slug fest.
