  1. WTF was that? Looked more like the 'Running of the Bulls' than a football game. Some of the dumbest s*** I've ever seen.
  2. Nebraska was brutal last year. Period. Why would an analyst have any reason to believe they're going to win 9 games this year? Because the coaching staff changed? That might help, but it's not going to produce 4-5 more wins in 1 year. Just being realistic..........
  3. I would say 7 wins is a realistic assessment. As much as I'd like to see 10 wins, I just don't think it's going to happen this year.......especially with the talent KU and MU have coming back. However, I hope to be pleasantly suprised.
  4. I think I've asked this before, but what exactly does the winner get? Bragging rights? Nothing makes a man tougher than bragging rights on an internet message board!!
  5. All the cool people sit in the south stadium.....why would you want to move?
  6. Pay for my son to be born!! NU Class of 2030!!!
  7. In Cy's defense, ISU gets the 4 dogs from the south this year. That should at least give them a shot at a winning record! However, I'm not quite as optimistic as Cy. All records aside, I'd just like to see NU beat a formidable foe this year. Maybe a couple wins over Top 15 teams.
  8. I think the bachelor party should go down at halftime and take the alcoho/drug-free pledge.........HAAAAAAA!!!!!!
  9. Buddy, if I lived in Nebraska I would go to EVERY game EVERY year! But for those of us who live out of state, including yourself, we look forward to watching the Spring Game on NFL Network because its too pricy to fly up for a Spring Game. I am in no way a homebody! One of my goals in life is to make it up for a home game...which there will be many because I am still young! Not attacking you PIMP just making you aware. GBR Understood. My comments were directed to the people in the area. Even tho I live in a different state, I'm closer to Lincoln than about 75% of the people in Nebraska. However, my wife is just about ready to pop with our first child, so I'm gonna have to save my lungs for the fall!! Ahhh! Congrats Pimpzilla, and good luck with everything. Thanks man. Even better news.........got the OK to go down for the day to the Spring game!! Woo Hoo!!
  10. I heard him playing clips of old interviews with Tillman, so I wondered if he got to the Pelini thing. Sounded like Rome was hyping some sort of a run/walk to support a charity that the Tillman Family set up??
  11. Did he ever get to this topic on the program today?

  13. It's a good way for the university to ensure a sellout........all those homebodies are gonna have to get out and enjoy an afternoon of good weather and fantastic football!!!
  14. I try to listen to Rome in my office, but it's hard to catch everything with all the interuptions. If someone has the time, a quick synopsis of Rome's thoughts would be much appreciated!!
  15. F this is gonna be a long 5 months.................
  16. Looks like a Hawkette in the making.......puke.
  17. No one is forcing you to read it. If it makes you happy, I'm not. I'm just tired of it getting bumped to the top of the forum. 15 paragraph posts just don't do it for me.
  18. Looks like a mini Willis McGahee.
  19. He has a blade on the front of his 4-wheeler.
  20. Don't be a selfish bastard...where do you think the money to pay the guy that holds the down marker comes from? You trying to take the food out of my mouth with your complaining or what? Quit whining and dig deep. The money you spend on Saturday at Ames is the hooker I wake up with Sunday in Ames.... If ISU wants to only sell season tickets to this game, that is fine. But I have a serious problem with the price gouging on the 4k allotment NU gets. $90 a ticket is absurd, especially when the same game only in Licoln only charges $60. You cant tell me the game is more in demand when it is played in that so called stadium. It is only a matter of time untill teams start doing this and worse back to them. I cant wait till this backfires and NU fans buy 25,000 season tickets and then ISU is left with a half full stadium the rest of the year. You're starting to sound like Hawkeye fans. ISU is doing what they have to do to generate revenue to develop a better program. Period. Updates for the stadium, better coach, better product on the field. Yes, and doing so at the expense of Husker fans. It would seem that ISU would be the "selfish bastards." If they want more revenue they should do the following: 1. Win more games!!! Make there own fan base want to travel. Give people a reason to care enough to attend. 2. Expand the seating above that of a large high school, or maybe just switch to arena ball. 3. Make fans feel more welcome. Do this by sending a message of "Come visit and see what we offer. Watch a great sporting event. Dine and shop at our local businesses. Visit our beautiful campus." 4. Don't make fans feel unwelcome by sending a message of " WE NEED MONEY, and we are going to charge you almost double to make up for our short-comings. Why stay in the comfort of your own home or in your local pub watching the game on a large HDTV, when you can come here for double of what you pay in Lincoln." ISU can try to justify this anyway they want, but it simply spells out to the public just how bad their football program is doing financially (what a great recruiting message). Also, you say "You're starting to sound like Hawkeye fans." This is interesting. If many are starting to say similar things about a specific subject, it just may be true. Although it is disturbing being put into a category with squawkeye fans. Your 1st three points are perfect examples for why Pollard is doing this.....all 3 require money. Being an ISU student for 4 years made me realize HOW GOOD US NEBRASKA FANS HAVE IT. You can't hold the little guys down forever.
  21. I'd put Chizik a little higher on this list.
