Seems like we've been saying "wait til next year" every year that Doc has been here, and while I really like Doc, I can't help wondering if the pieces will ever fall together. With that being said, I think we will surprise some people. P.S. Stanhardinger is really fun to watch, that guy will be a good player for us.

I think they are actually ranked 9th now, if my quick glance at the ESPN ticker a while ago was right and my eyes didn't deceive me. I am really excited to see where these girls go, it's just too bad that women's basketball doesn't get good publicity and the teams that do really well don't get a lot of recognition. Anyone know of somewhere to watch the game?

Congrats to all these guys, especially Dillard, so happy to see him not give up, definitely paid dividends in the long run.

I guess given that we are in fact in reality, which is less than ideal (I think all coaches get paid more than they deserve, but I digress), relativity is what is important in determining what Bo deserves I guess. 1.8mil with incentives for championships (which Bo self-reportedly all about) seems about right to me, based on the combination of his success so far and the direction the program is going. On a side note, how absolutely refreshing is it to have a head coach who is here because he wants to be here, and because he loves Nebraska, not because he wants a high paying job? Brings a smile to my face every time I think about it, but then a frown when I think of how many coaches are only in it for the money.

I wonder if at halftime of their games, they have people come out and try to throw footballs into his mouth?

Maybe since Knapplc's idea (which is awesome, by the way) deviates slightly from the original intent, after this one is over, we can have a second round of awards that focus on individual posts and threads and such.

What exactly is there to do that is so different though? I can understand "more", but that doesn't mean much if it's more of the same. This isn't sarcasm either, it's just my sheltered mind not being able to comprehend (I think of Lincoln as big).
