LSU and Va Tech played on Thursday to start off the season two years ago.

Sorry I didn't really mention how to do much. If you want to make a new page, either search for the page name of what you want to create, and if it doesn't exist it will say "You can create this page", and 'create this page' is clickable to take you to the edit screen to make it. Alternatively, you can change the url at the top after "title=" and just put in the title of what you want the page to be called, and then you'll see an edit button to start typing in I'll try and put up a 'getting started' guide to explain some of the features of the wiki.

You guys are really failing to even attempt to look at the other side of things. Not saying it's right or wrong, just saying we should be open to both sides of an argument and not predispose ourselves to feel one way or the other.

It's not really a Big XII network. ESPN just likes to come up with fancy things to put on big xii games that aren't on the main channels.

We might. If he wants to make it into the NFL (he got invited to the Combine), he's gonna have to come out with it to SOMEBODY, and the NFL and it's reporters aren't known for keeping secrets.

I've made thread(s) about this in the past so hopefully the mods are still ok with it. Maybe some of you remember, but quite a while back I made a Husker Wiki on the wikia server, with the hope of getting the word out and getting a dedicated base of people to make additions and edits. It never really got off the ground and I didn't really have time for it so it just sat there. Well, wikia sucks anyways but now I've stumbled across some free webspace and thought it might be worth a second chance, so alas, a new Husker Wiki exists at http://huskerwiki.org . So this is my plea: I need people to help, basically. If you don't know what wiki software is (think wikipedia), it's basically a website that, for the most part, anybody can edit without needing knowledge of coding or web design. It's very easy to do, but there is still a ton of depth available. So, these are some of the things I need people to do. 1. Start making pages. They don't have to be in depth at all, but just THERE. The best way to get people to spend time on a wiki is to seed (plant the beginnings of an article/page), and then wait for people to come around and water them, so to speak. 2. Be staff members. It will be totally volunteer, unofficial stuff. You won't be asked to do a lot at all, just to monitor pages for spam (bots like to rape wiki pages), to get the word out about the wiki, etc. 3. For people that are more skilled with wiki synatx and/or HTML, the wiki will eventually need to employ the use of a lot of templates for player bios and junk like that. (an example of this is located here.) That's all I'm looking for right now, and keep in mind it's for all sports, not just football. Hopefully this project will gain popularity, but right now I really need help from Husker faithful getting it started. If it works, it has a good chance to become THE place to go for the most in-depth news available, and the best part is that it's provided by all of you good people! http://huskerwiki.org THANKS ALL! Now I want to know if this is just something that we are doing to say "we have a practice facility", or if this is going to be top-of-the-line stuff. Hearing that Michigan is going ahead with a 23m facility makes me thinkt his place will leave much to be desired in terms of facilities, which have always been a benchmark of our university.

We've been saying "next year's the year" for a while now, but next year REALLY feels like it will have the pieces in place.

Just in my defense (not like anyone is attacking me or anything), the only reason I suggested making recruiting a subforum was as a possible solution to make it more fair towards other sports. But If I were personally in charge I would leave it as it's own forum.
