  1. As opposed to bad sh#t? I try to describe my favorite songs differently.
  2. What I find strange is that Stewart Mandel calls BC a "passing guru" and then does this
  3. On 1110 KFAB on the sports show today, a recruiting analyst from rivals said he will sign with us his words were "mark it down"

Daniel Ellis' excuses to try to get out of jury duty didn't sit well with the judge. "In 32 years of service in courtrooms, as a prosecutor, as a defense attorney and now as a judge, I have quite frankly never confronted such a brazen situation of an individual attempting to avoid juror service," Barnstable Superior Court Judge Gary Nickerson told Daniel Ellis, according to a preliminary court transcript of the exchange. Ellis, of Falmouth, had been called to court with about 60 other potential jurors for possible service on a 23-member grand jury. On a questionnaire that all potential jurors fill out, Ellis wrote that he didn't like homosexuals and blacks. He then echoed those sentiments in an interview with Nickerson. "You say on your form that you're not a fan of homosexuals," Nickerson said. "That I'm a racist," Ellis interrupted. "I'm frequently found to be a liar, too. I can't really help it," Ellis added. "I'm sorry?" Nickerson said. "I said I'm frequently found to be a liar," Ellis replied. "So, are you lying to me now?" Nickerson asked. "Well, I don't know. I might be," was the response. Ellis then admitted he really didn't want to serve on a jury. "I have the distinct impression that you're intentionally trying to avoid jury service," Nickerson said. "That's true," Ellis answered.(I wonder if that's a lie?) Nickerson ordered Ellis taken into custody. He was released later Monday morning. Ellis could face perjury and other charges.
  5. I just think that the gameplay in Madden is superior to Ncaa football, I mean just look at the pass defense in ncaa 07 it's awful. Also, I read that trick plays would be harder to pull off in Ncaa 08 so it's not practical to run the Statue of Liberty 20 times a game(unless you're KSU), but I can do the option 20 times a game and gain good yardage
  6. I just learned that in 2008 we will be able to lateral! I can't wait to run the option with Young or Vick, my offense will be unstoppable I just hope they implement it better than they did in ncaa 07
  7. Because he has that as his background does it make us the leader?
  8. Barry Sanders missed the cut? he is better than most of the others to face WVU.
  9. The first paragraph says "But were they the best to face WVU?" So I am thinking this list is the best players to face WVU.
  10. Espn recruiting and scout combining? WHOA! That's combining the 2 worst recruiting services out there, it's the perfect storm...
  11. Of course he is an American hero. What is more American than stuffing your face with food?
  12. Spartness, check post #12 it says he runs a 4.7 40, which is pretty good.
  13. He's on the list of the 40 worst players in the big 12.
  14. I never read anything the sportingnews writes anymore, it's all garbage but imo our best linebacker is Mckeon and he's not even in the top 40.
  15. but which are better odds? A 1/10 chance of it being the number 5...or a 9/10 chance of it NOT being the number 5? It's all about bettering your odds. True, it's possible the number 5 will be picked again, but the odds are much smaller. But like I said, it's only going to increase your odds by a very very small amount I guess that's why they call it gambling though let me try to explain this again there is exactly a 1/10 probability that 1 is picked out of the hat or 2 or 3 and so on. the odds are exactly the same. If i pick a 5 and put it back in there is 10 numbers in the hat one is a 5 that is still a 1/10 probability that it is picked. The sum of the probabilities adds up to 1. Your argument is that it's more likely to pick numbers 1 through 10 excepting 5 than picking the number 5, that's true. wait, i get what you're trying to do, you're planning on picking all the lottery numbers except 5 and see if you win, well i think it will probably work
  16. I think it is, he just lost to Chestnut who I think ate 66 hot dogs. The sad thing is that that jaw injury may force him to take early retirement from the world of competitive eating, and he had such a bright future...
  17. Grixby, I think he is going to improve greatly from last year and the safeties will be division 1 quality now to help him.
