I am just a little confused by your post...I dont really get the sarcasm Your really upset/blaming a cop for pulling you over doing 18 over the speed limit, and being explained the law??!! In MO, you either pay your traffic tickets before the court date, or show up in court. If you do neither, they issue a warrent for your arrest. THAT has nothing to do with you being from Nebraska. And I am really sure that a room full of witnesses conspired to let the police run all over this 'poor, poor' husker fan. She was totatlly in the right. I mean, I get the cops called on my ALL THE TIME at BWW. Like every other week. Could it be that she was causing a scene and was in the wrong and that she exaggerated the details of the story??? NEVER...because she is a Husker fan. Guys you will never believe it. I was pulled over doing 18 over the speed limit, only 2 mph away from going straight to jail, and that nebraska pig told me if I didnt pay my ticket or show in court i would be going to jail. God, all because I had a MU logo on my car and had a MO licence. Yep.....sounds just a stupid as yours did. Sorry I stand corrected, it was because not only was I a Cornhusker fan and had Nebraska plates on my car, it was also because I attended the Seminary College 15 miles away from Maryville, MO where a majority of Seminarians had a led foot. I was explained to by one of the guys there who lived in Missouri that since I had no previous charges, there should have been no reason for me to sit in the police car. I just felt like the officer or officers were being a bit harsh for the only ticket I ever got. I'm sorry for the misunderstood sarcasm, I was just frustrated.

Gotta Love Missouri Police. I got clocked once going 78 in a 60 MPH zone, and I'm told in their police car, "You will pay the ticket or show up in court, or we Will find you and arrest you". All because I was from Nebraska. "I don't care, I'm a Police Officer, and I can do what I want". Sure thing big winner, like cuss in front of kids? I'd imagine other Cops got involved because she pleaded her case saying, "My kids don't have to hear that type of language". How could there be no wrong doing if he's handling himself in that sort of manner in public as a police officer? Maybe it's because he's a Missouri Tiger Fan, and she's a Cornhusker Fan.

Just a suggestion, but you should see if the Hotel has a shuttle to the Stadium and how late they'll bring you back. It sounds like parking cost you an arm and a leg.

I saw on KSUfans.com or something KSU fans were whining about the outcome of the game and complaining about everything to do with being a Cornhusker Fan. "Look my team wears red, I'm gonna buy a red car to support them". I guess it's hard to buy a Purple and Silver car unless you go to "Pimp my Ride".

If I remember correctly, the Big XII Championship in San Antonio in 1997 was against Texas A&M and the players said it sounded like a home game. I imagine that Cornhusker Fans are going to come out in droves for the game. It might look like the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in 1996. Some Texas fans might wonder, "Why go when I think I know the outcome, and I can watch it on TV?" I'd love to see the stadium be 70-30 in favor of Nebraska.

Way to keep the faith. We do realize that KSU played with nothing to lose right? That in a sense makes a team very dangerous. Nebraska still won, and the Media has stated that Nebraska could beat Texas in the Big XII Championship, and really mess things up for them. Texas killed our hopes for a 3peat in 1996 when they beat us at the first big XII Championship game, how awesome would it be to return the favor and keep them out of the National Championship?

I can't wait to see where he goes in the NFL. Hopefully a good NFL team picks him up and we see Suh winning a NFL Champs ring too.

What a game! Nebraska wins the Big XII North, Suh controls the field, and Nebraska did exactly as Corso and Herbstreet said by winning 14. Now, lets dine on Buffalo (It's good once you tenderize it), then we dine on some Longhorn beef. Go Huskers!!

I have to work till 8pm tonight, so I'll miss most of the 1st half, lucky for me, I am working with a guy who'll bring a radio so we can at least listen to the play by play on KFAB. (I'm taping the game too). I have been pacing all week. I can't wait to see how many ways the Cornhuskers can skin a Wildcat.

That was awesome hearing them give props to Nebraska. Plus, they were saying that If Nebraska wins the Big XII North, you can't just give Texas the Big XII Championship. Nebraska by 2 Touchdowns! I would love to see us win by more. Suh and Company are going to play with a lot of heart tonight and lay it all out on the field. The 83,000+ are going to be even louder then they were against Oklahoma. Yes I said it, they are going to be louder. I have goosebumps and the hair is standing on the back of my neck. The intensity is there and Nebraska doesn't play for over 8 hours. Thank God I have to work for a while today before the game, I'd be pacing a trail into the floor.

One time, I had to park my car (a 1976 Pontiac Astre' Wagon, my Dad nicknamed Ashtray which looked like a Ford Pinto Wagon painted like the Griswold Family Cruiser = Puke Green/Piss Yellow and the fake wood trim on the sides along with the rust) in Downtown Omaha and put a ton of change in the meter, and headed to my practice run through for High School Graduation. I had a few friends who's parents dropped them off and told them to find a way home ask me for a ride and we get back to my car, and there is a note on my windshield under the wiper blade that says, "Why don't you park your Piece of S**T somewhere else". I showed the note to my friends and one of them took the note and placed it under the wiper blade of the vehicle next to me. I didn't know my POS was depreciating Downtown Omaha near the Civic Auditorium, then again it was 1989. I think it's gutless that someone has strong words like that in a note. I guess it was verbal at least and not physical. I think their first step should have been a lot nicer. Maybe they had a bad day and had to take it out on somebody.

I imagine the 5 star recruit is seeing how Nebraska is overcoming adversity, and what the future holds not to mention Nebraska's great fan base and wants to be a part of something special. If Nebraska wins the Big XII North, we take a big step in being THE dominating team again. Win the Big XII Championship, and the whole nation has to take a look at us. It's amazing how teams that badmouth Nebraska for having some off seasons were talking smack before, and who knows what their future holds for them. Husker Haters keep trying to say that Nebraska is over and done and down for the count, but give it time, we're going to be National Championship contenders before they know it, and it's going to make their heads spin.

Another Signature win might have been the Texas A & M game in College Station in 2006 when Nebraska moved down the field late in the 4th Quarter and got the winning TD to win 28-27. 51-65 loss to Colorado in 2005 was kind of a signature loss too. It was more of a basketball score than a football score.

How and why would they say "Brook is still dead" when the guy grew up in Kansas? I guess it's because he went to play for a good team. I remember when the non call happened the Ref stopped, grabbed hold of the flag then thought better of it and continued on. If my memory serves me correctly, when Solich talked about wanting to review the "non call" with NCAA officials, I think they threatened him with something like fining him or something like that if he attempted to pursue it any further.

Nebraska vs Oklahoma is and always will be Nebraska vs Oklahoma, but I just have a feeling because it's for the Bix XII North Championship, it will be comparable. I'm getting chills already, and we still have 5 days to get through.
