Saw Thursday/Friday there were a ton of Husker Football tickets for sale at Husker Hounds for around $30 each. If I could have gotten off work today, my Wife and I would have gone to the game. Anyhow, I wonder how Memorial Stadium is going to look today? Hopefully not showing a lot of empty seats, and please, no exodus of fans leaving Memorial Stadium. Hopefully the fans stay for the entire game.

I think its all about the attitude. Nebraska had a week to rest up. The mindset should be, "lets not even make it close. Nebraska needs it to be over in the 3rd quarter, and not just coast thru the 4th but continue to dominate. I was really hoping that Purdue would be ranked. Imagine a win this week and an upset at home against Ohio ST. If Nebraska would beat Ohio St, I would be all for the fans rushing the field. Same goes with Iowa too. IMHO, Nebraska has what it takes to finish 7-5. Not drinking the koolaid, just saying Nebraska knows what it has to do. 6-6 to finish is good. 7-5 would be great.

Sometimes it seems like it just happened. I had come home for the weekend from Seminary College in NW Missouri area. Saturday I go with my brother to a bar and grill to watch the Nebraska at Kansas game. Amazed at all the rain happening in Kansas, and if I remember correctly there was even a weather delay. As rainy as it was in Kansas, I remember it being blustery and dry in Omaha. Anyway, games done and leaving the bar and grill and light flurries. I remember thinking that hopefully no snow overnight. My brother says, this won't amount to anything. The next day at around 11AM my Dad explains there is an outage, and "the world has fallen around us". I open the curtains in my room for light and see all the snow. The next hour or so, I'm in my dad's 4 wheel drive and checking out downed trees and power lines. I wasn't able to head back out of Omaha till Wednesday, and there were other people who were like, "where were you?" The following weekend watching the Nebraska at Missouri game with a group of guys.
