  1. I remember the one we rocked during the 2007 coaching search. I'd roll with something like that again.
  2. I'm here, thanks for asking...my computer has been on mute lately...
  3. Pretty sure it's not real. Reminded me of this one from a few years ago though (also fake, NOTE: one use of the S-word). -kNyiMgU8mU
  4. Just out of curiosity, what parts of Drowning's life have been affected by these, "cut backs"?
  5. From the Gatorboard. I thought 37 was banned from there.
  6. Wonder if he'd let us go on as an opening act?
  7. Bump for this, I think I asked the same thing a couple of months ago... Huskeraddict, you gotta have this, right?
  8. I did a quick check and I find nothing to support what you may have heard. What radio station were you listening to? T_O_B I did the same... It was 1620, they broke in late with the local sportcenter... I've had a couple, sh#t, maybe I'm hallucinating dreaming about Rex Burkhead.
  9. I might be drunk... but I swear to god they just said on the radio that Dan Hawkins is out like a boner in sweatpants.
  10. hmmm... looks like someone came prepared, just in case there was a B******...
  11. I can't believe I'm saying this...but we are in perfect f'ing harmony here. Steve brought the stripes back in '03, getting away from the Oregon look we rocked in '02. Never liked em. Nope, we went back to the solid pants in '03 (check link). The stripes came in Callahan's first year, but I don't recall ever hearing anything about it being Callhan's decision or not...as far as I know the stripes and Callahan are two completely isolated incidents. Secondly, the stripes we've had since '04 aren't any thicker than the stripes we had back in the 80's/90's. I should have said Steve brought the stripes back in '04 rather than '03. I do distinctly remember Steve talking about it in '04, how Nebraska always wore stripes when we had worked there in previous capacities and he wanted to bring them back.

  13. This is seriously f'd up OKC. I'm sure you called the police/sheriff, but I would also suggest doing your best to alert the local media. Get this sh#t on the news. Might not be a bad idea to call the humane society either. Is there any way foresnics can be involved in isolating the culprit? This person derserves to rot in hell. If you get a name, PM it do me and I'll punch them in the throat when I get there.
  14. I thought he played lights out. Saw him take one gamble and lose, but it was legit and barely got away from him.
  15. Just watched it myself and I would echoe your sentiments...
  16. Congratulations on thw win. Your fans were excellent to us as well, especially exiting the stadium.
  17. Heard a rumor that HuskerJen yanked the fire almarm at the Va. Tech hotel last night (3 a.m.).
  18. 1) Right now the forecast for Saturday in Blacksburg is highs in the mid-70's and lows in the mid 50's. I would expect the evening and early night (7'ish to 11'ish) to be in 60's. 2) Depends. Are these guys showing up? Let's see, off the top of my head ... Eats - my personal favorites are Mike's Grill, Sub Station II, and Boudreaux's. Mike's has big, tasty burgers and calzones. It's a staple of Blacksburg. Sub Station II has very good subs - almost every time I go back to Blacksburg I end up grabbing a sub there. Boudreaux's is pretty good cajun place right in the middle of downtown. Drinking holes - Can't go wrong with Sharkey's. Right in the middle of downtown, should be lots of scenery there. PK's & Hokie House are good, too. If you want something that's off the beaten path, and a bit more of a hole-in-the-wall, checkout the Underground. Rivermill has a good selection of beer. Things to see - Campus. Take a walk around campus a little bit, checkout the drillfield (right in the middle of campus) the Duckpond. The April 16th memorial is in front of Burruss Hall in the drillfield. There's lots of outdoorsy stuff to do around Blacksburg, but I imagine you won't have time. Do you know where you're staying? Thanks for the tips man! 1) That's cooler than I would have thought. 2) Absolutely Staying at the Sheraton Roanoke Hotel & Conference Center on Thursday night, somewhere different on Friday and Saturday night though. I'll get back to you with that. Also, we typically enjoy one nice sit-down dinner, do Mikes or Boudreaux's qualify in that regard?
