As much as I miss Nebraska-Oklahoma every year the formation of the Big 12 from 8 killed that. So I'm used to not having it every year. Big 12 made their bed giving into all of Texas' demands. Meanwhile the Huskers joining the B1G have upgraded the athletics department in every way. Nebraska came out on top, and needs to stay there.

I'd like to see them bring the throwbacks they used in the 300th sellout game and/or use those regularly or even use uniforms similar to what Johnny Rodgers wore.

This is a good point and very interesting to think about. IMO I'd say it definitely affected how guys developed but his real "failure" to me was the stubbornness to adjustments or changing/tweaking things. I remember when Bo first got here and he was doing well with Callahans players everyone said why couldn't Callahan develop and coach players like this.

Would love to see the school go with Nike, they have the best uniforms, merch etc... Plus as many have said they also appeal to the recruits most.

Went with Roy because of the school record. But wow what Rodgers did was before my time, I'd love to see that performance. Sounds incredible!

I guess I just don't understand the negativity, if you're a fan of this team wouldn't you want to hope for the best? I mean like others have said many times, we haven't even seen this staff coach the team we love to watch play and yet some are already writing him off as a bad hire or trying to "prove" it's not gonna work out. Doesnt make sense to me...

I think coach Riley will end up retiring here, I see him getting the program to that next level and being conference contenders regularly and playoff contenders occasionally. That's my wishful thinking, and I'm sticking to it
