I mean, the whole cooler thing is pretty funny. As for what other teams think of us, using reddit as a proxy, some of the ribbing we're receiving is deserved. Nebraska fans were quick to stick their chest out and tout Frost as the next savior. He might very well be, but in an era where we haven't won any meaningful game since '99, I feel like we should've slowed our roll just a bit. JMHO

Good lord. Reading comprehension is tough for some. He hurt himself on the first day of winter conditioning. That is more than likely not due to buying in as much as it is being way too out of shape for the conditioning Frost was trying to incorporate.

That wasn't really my initial argument. I originally was just correcting you by stating he was put in the hospital after one practice, not after a summer of bulking. As for your question, over the first few games he doesn't look like he was that out of shape more so he lacked effort. There is a reason he was pulled from the game and, as others and myself have stated, demoted to the freshman locker room.

You do realize there is a difference between being so out of shape that you end up in the hospital versus "He bulked up so much this summer he put himself in the hospital", right?

This is incorrect. His hospitalization was during winter workouts. Buy-in - maybe even buy-in once the season started - is a huge factor, given the fact he was demoted to the freshman locker room.
