I fully admit the a return of Callahan for "any" reason would devastate me to the very core. It would be like someone ripping my heart out.

I know, it makes me sick to my stomach too. It would be far better to have these self proclaiming "awesome" fans have their own section. I can see them now...yet another NU massive blowout loss and they're up there singing "Cum-By-Ya" the whole 2nd half as the regular fans have left with huge disgust.

The 04 Texas Tech game. NU should never lose by 60 points to "anybody" much less bloody Texas Tech. Cally was trying to insert square pegs in round holes which shows amazing incompetence.

Great point! This has not fallen off under Callahan and is something that I believe makes a great statement about the quality of student athlete and priorities of students/coaches. Plus..He gave some of us a new appreciation of Option Football! Good point. After watching Cally's putrid wco this year, a power running attack with the option would be terrific!

I Bleed Red, please, please ignore the nimrods and give us the scoop. It's simply brutal watching Cally/Coz run our program into the ground and you're a desperately needed ray of light. Please???

I actually disagree with you on this only because we almost are always passing on 3rd and 2 at this point. Other teams use it to catch the D looking run only. As often as we pass on 3rd and 2, it shows me BC has lost faith of the O-line, just like he has lost faith of the Defense. That is why the offensive play calling, and along with it our Offensive stats, are going in the tank. Thus, each week looks worse than the previous week. In all fairness at what point has this O-line shown any ability to knock anyone off the line? Wasn't Cartille averaging 7 ypc vs TAM? Of course, our "NFL genius" HC would have run his favorite Lucky for no gains anyways....

No problem. For some reason aggie and NU fans have always seemed to get along just fine and always end up buying each other endless beers. We both have the same problem with grossly inept coaching although I'm convinced Fran is K. Rockne relative to our Callahan. Anyways, the best of luck to TAM and let's hope we'll both rebound soon.

I too desperately miss NU smashmouth. The wco is a fine offense but is a terrible match for us.

I believe they would offer up more monay as an incentive to resign early (as in before the end of the season). Is how the rest of you understood it? I think that's the only thing it can mean, but that's not how it was worded. My guess is just a poor choice of wording on that part. Still doesn't make any sense to me because you could fire him right now. I guess the only thing I can see is that he ANNOUNCES his resignation EFFECTIVE at the end of the season right now, and you have to pay him extra to do that. I think that is stupid, can his ass right now instead and get him th f#*k out of there. Anyone with half a brain can do a better job than that jackass is doing right now - three straight blow out losses, yeah I think I could even coach us to that. Three straight humiliating losses clearly show how outrageously inept he is as our HC (not to mention the USC/Ball st abortions). For the life of me I can't understand why we keep Cally/Coz around to keep running our team into the ground. I'll defer to TO but it's brutally difficult to stomach this mess.

I know...we can't run the ball and can't stop the run. Just bloody great and thanks a lot Cally. We can drop passes though and we can't cover wrs or pressure qbs. So the only thing making this game even remotely winnable is that it's in Lincoln and the Aggies are in a free fall too. Even with this it's too difficult to see Cally/Coz outcoaching Fran (or anybody else) so I gotta go with 2 TD TAM victory.

I can't possibly imagine our defense stopping Lane & Magee. Our offense has been every bit as pathetic as our defense the last several weeks too. We made Missou & OSU's defense look outstanding. The Aggies are down bigtime but still miles above Cally/Coz.

You can't deny what a grossly inept HC he is at NU. The record speaks for itself.... (15-15) vs BigXII opponents, greatest loss in the history of NU, first losing season in 40 years, 0-6 vs top ten teams, etc, etc. You can apologize for him until you're blue in the face but it doesn't change the fact he's in way, way over his head and richly deserves to be fired.

Callahan beat Fran by a country mile in grossly inept game day coaching and horrid development of players.

I'll gladly bite the bullet with another couple Cally blow out losses as long as it insures Cally/Coz are gone. As if a couple more massacres via Callahan would even be noticed anyways....

Yes, indeed it is a HUGE difference. NU getting slaughtered like stuck pigs has nothing to do with "parity". As always, parity is just being used as the same old same old....."excuse".

Good post! Wyatt has energy coming out of his ears as does Busch. As you mentioned, Busch is also a terrific recruiter and a Nebraska guy to boot. If indeed Bo comes back Husker Nation will explode with excitment.

You got that right, the North is ours to lose. I don't see us losing anymore games until the Big XII championship game. Yeah, win the putrid BigXII North and lose to every ranked team we play. Progress??
