  1. Where'd you go to college ladyhawke? And as far as Minnesota goes... not no more. They gave up a full field drive to Sparty to end the half down 17-21. Their defense is a total Let's hope Cousins finds a way to give this one away. Minnesota is back on top!
  2. My neighbor played with Raymond at LSU, and speeks very highly of the guy! He says he is a great coach! He said if Raymond is still at NU, he would like his youngest son to go there! His son is a sophomore, and already getting looks from Texass, LSU, and Oregon!
  3. You must not be watching the same game as the rest of us!
  4. They have the same song as my old high school!
  5. I hope it's better than the BIG game plan they had for Oklahoma in 08!
  6. If I remember right, they gave us quite a scare in 94! Can't overlook these guys!
  7. I'd say to hell with the wedding!

They kept asking him how it felt to be committed to Nebraska. He laughed a bit at that. "I've been committed to Nebraska. I just never came out and said it." Yep. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound juco defensive end said he's been committed to the Huskers for about a month now. Whenever the pledge was made doesn't really matter. The fact that Carter is planning to sign with NU on Wednesday does. He is the 17th known recruit in this Husker class. Carter joins fellow Chaffey (Calif.) Community College teammate Daimion Stafford, a safety, as Husker recruits. "We got the same goals on our minds, and we got competition on our minds," Carter said. "I just wanted to go to a good school. ... We've both got two years (to play). And Nebraska kept it straight with us." Carter had been publicly committed to Arizona, but there was great speculation and strong hints by the defensive end himself that he was leaning Nebraska's way. Carter said he appreciated the approach by NU's coaches during the recruiting process. "They're cool and they're straightforward," he said. "They just keep it real. They aren't going to (BS) you or nothing." Reach Brian Christopherson at bchristopherson@journalstar.com or 473-7439.

  11. Oh yeah, forgot about DeVante. Friendly wager: I say he picks USC tomorrow and it won't even be close.
  12. The only thing they can do is go in there and kick Washington's ass, and move on!
