  1. I'm sorry, but I can make no sense of your post. I think you should re-read it and edit. The huskers played a good game. If they play like that they could win 50% of their games in their big12 schedule. But with their inconsistency on how the huskers play. I could possibly change my opinion after the next game. Is that good enough Crystal clear, thanks kid. I totally agree with that assesment.
  2. Is he going to be afraid of cold weather if he makes it to an NFL that plays in the cold. Eric, don't be a little pu&&y, you play defense, you are supposed to be tough.
  3. I will say this, Kansas does have a good recruiting class this year. The month of January has been good for them, they just picked up their 4th 4 star today, and he is an Ohio State decommit.
  4. Nice, a true Christian is always a man of his word, its sound's like we have several high character kids comming in. I hear Burhead is also a great kid.
  5. 1. OU had a spot open up 2. Andrew has a younger brother(Aaron) who may be the best RB in the 2011 class. 3. Andrew told him he is solid with the Huskers ( Suck it Stoops)
  6. I said earlier that he should have been in this poll. I have a feeling he will be an interception machine. edit.. wait, I thought he played safety?

  8. My day has been made. Now we got two years to work on little brother, sorry Bobby, you sneaky bastard.
  9. OK it's just: Bob Stoops is a shameless, low dirty scumbag I mean come on, he is a Steve Spurrier clone, all the way down to gay visor he wears. Plus I don't think Bo is good friends with the LA-Tech coach. Stoops is a win at all costs coach. Just look their pathetic graduation rates.
  10. No way he makes a big impact at running back next year with three solid RB's ahead of him. Plus, I have heard he has struggled during his RS year.
  11. I not surprised, blood is thicker than water. Big bro to take him under his wing. Come on Martin and Logan, come be part of something special.
  12. uhhhh Collins Okafor? Sean Fisher? Baker Steinkuhler? John Levorson? Just to name a few from a year ago. I meant to say when was the last time we recruited somebody great/legendary/important etc. Man, you are right. Eric Crouch was the last big time player I can remember that has come out of Nebraska. makes me wonder what kind of high school coaches we have in Nebraska. The only sport I see in Nebraska producing anyone is in volleyball, because they have good club coaches. I think we should start having spring practice like they do in Texas and Florida. I know our talent pool is lower because of population, but good coaching makes a huge difference. Zach Potter? Ty Steinkuhler? Those two were good players, but not big time All-American level players. Although Ty sure looked big time in the Gator Bowl. But Eric Crouch was the last Nebraska native All-American , and that was 8 freakin years ago. What happened to Omaha producing all those great running backs, and where are all those great offensive lineman from the small towns. To me, it has to be sub-par coaching, as it has been just to long since we have had one. Come on Nebraska high school coaches, step it up, we need better coached players from you.
  13. Compton sound like a stud, but you forgot about Kyler Reed and Sean Fisher. Those two should be included in this poll. Both are big time athletes. Burkhead and Green will more than likely RS.

  15. The article is already posted in the recruiting section. It really shows the uphill battle Bo has in getting us back to the top.
  16. He is 2 on my list as well. I can't stand hansbrough though (I know, clever rhyming) I like where your head's at. Handsblow is my #1 as well. He got jacked in the mouth tonight. Had to wear a mouthpiece to keep his tooth from falling out. I wish more of the games were on tv here. Do they ever show them on NETV?? Why don't you guys like Psycho-T. I think he is a stud, and for him to come back for his senior year is awesome. Griffin is kind of cocky, but he is really fun to watch. If Doc ever gets talent like either one of these two watch out.
  17. http://nebraska.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=...d2%26c%3d832421 I hope this isn't another Travis Lewis... Stoops can suck a four letter word. I think Green will stay on board, but him trying to swoop in two weeks before signing day makes me sick. Ik recruiting is cut-throat, but I have a good feeling about Green... I think he's truly COMMITTED to being a Husker. Here's to hoping Stoops doesn't make it to another BCS game to choke in. Suck it Stoops. I have never liked that guy. Now he is trying to pull a fast one on his "good friend Bo" at the last second. I guess this kid must be the real deal, I hope he stays.
  18. Actually, 6 of the 9 we got from Texas are in the top 100. yay... i made the travel squad ..100th post
  19. Finally, we get some people on this board following Husker basketball. Keep it up guys, we all need to get behind Doc and the boys. Sucks that we lost, but I just love how hard Doc's boys play. We may not make the Dance this year, but next year is looking damn good. Remember, if Texas A&M can do it, so can we. They used to have one of the worst teams in the country.
  20. That was a very eye opening article, and it show's that is going to be very difficult for us to get back to the BCS for us. But if anyone can do it, it's Coach Bo
  21. Whom are you claiming was the most talented? I would vote for Irvin Fryar and he certainly got drafted and had a good career. Caveman: If by legit you mean an electronic 4.4 forty... well on that basis, taken collectively I'd guess that less than 15-20% (at best) of the DB,WR and RB in the NFL meet that criteria. As for a a 6'4" guy running a certifiable, legit electronic 4.4 forty --- that is almost never seen. Are there 3 guys in the NFL who meet that criteria? Maybe. But if so, that is about it. Such is a very, very, very rare thing. The guys that are labeled as 4.4 in college when they get to combines typically run a 4.55 or so. Those who we label as 4.6 in college run more typically 4.75 or so in reality. My point is that most forty yard dash numbers are bunk. Usain Bolt, the worlds fastest man they estimate (on the basis of his sprints at longer range) runs a mid 4.2 electronically. That goes to show you what a freak of nature Taylor Mays from USC is. 6'3 an electronic 4.2 and a verticle of 41 inches. Are those really his measurables? Wow. hard to believe. His electronic 4.2 must be like a 4.29 or 4.28 or so, right? Otherwise, he could be one of the 10 or so fastest track athletes on the planet. Perhaps he is. if so, impressive. I checked again, and it says he runs a 4.32 electronic at 6'3 230 with 6% bodyfat and a 11'4 standing long jump. He plays safety and just knocks the crap out of people. I can't belive he stayed in school

  23. I agree. We owe it to these players to take some pressure off them, even if he just plays a few minutes a game. There are just to many match up problems for these guys in the Big 12, and as hard as these guys play, they deserve some help if its available.
  24. I agree with most of what you said except Tommie Frazier was not an unknown out of Florida. He was one of the most highly recruited QBs in the country. I still remember how excited I was when he commited. I wish I would have cut out the Journal Star article and saved it.
