1. I was wrong. Cody G cannot play D-1 footall. He needs 2 find somewhere to transfer to... 2. We need to find a new defensive scheme that has true linebackers... 3. We need quicker sets (from the coaches) with defense (whether they're right or wrong)... 4. Niles Paul needs to be introduced to 'the pine' - I don't care what he does in 'the past' or 'the future'...

Unfortunately a few of the girls might develop back problems - and nothing like coming home after a hard faught match w/ Penn State to look in the mirror and see a nice floor burn arcross your tit from the dig you made during the 4th set to win the game. Which students are you talking about? The current students or the former students? Just because I don't go to UNL right now doesn't make me any less of a fan. In fact, former students who have paid for four (or five, or six) years of education, and now are out in the workforce and still pay the University as boosters, have given more to the school than kids today. Those blue-hairs everyone loves to cry about have paid more than five of you and two of me combined. So isn't this all for them?

I know for a fact there will not be any F-114 Stealths flying over this game. I do know that there will be T-38 jets flying, although I don't know exactly how many but at least two im guessing 4. My cousin is in the Air Force at a base in Texas and a HUGE Husker fan. He put his name in about a year ago to try to get the flyover to this game, AND HE GOT IT!! My whole family is going to the game to watch this once in a lifetime event. Can't wait to see him fly and get announced on the field later in the game!!!! GBR Aren't the training jets the NEANG uses T-38s? They're also the NASA planes aren't they?

Lighten up Francis. Geez, I spend a couple hours away from the board... IN REALITY, if you'd have years under your belt, you'd have a very lengthy list of the next '2nd Coming' player - many of whom just didn't pan out for whatever reason. What we have is pretty good expectations. Our secondary is, as you say, top of the line - playing with the personalities of the Pelini's. HOWEVER; We also have a redshirt freshmen quarterback that needs to play against the country's 4 and 5 star recruits. We also have a practice regimen that tends to break guys feet - and other things. We also have a smaller defensive front that, so far, has allowed that crucial 2 or 3 yards when the other team needs it. We also have a great pair of running backs that have yet to complete a healthy season... ...tell me we didn't all push our 'bollacks' down where they belong when we saw Thenarse taken off the field with a cart. it's just 'tempered' optimism that wasn't a part of your OP. (and spelling lose wrong, twice, in about 30 words...) whatever GBR!

I agree. I slipped and twisted my ankle this afternoon at lunch (on pop, or coffee, or maybe tea. no wait, I think it was chocolate milk) and I will not be able to use my ticket at Saturday's game. Can anybody tell me if me not being there this weekend will mean that our streak will end? What if I give it to a friend, will that count? If not, I may have to get my wheelchair out and get to it. ...and does the streak end when the bathrooms at memorial stadium are full? and then start up again when they're empty?
