I agree. I hope LSU wins, and that the defense is really strong. That would be the best advertising for NU. I can't wait to watch the game.

OK, if you were an LSU fan, how would you feel? if he was our DC and we were going to the NC game, how would you feel? try that shoe on for size.....then complain about it some more.....not me.....he has earned his chance to help his guys win it all! Well, my girlfriend's an LSU grad and die hard fan along with most of her family and friends. After hearing Pelini's appointment as HC at Nebraska they were disappointed that he wouldn't be around for the NC and beyond, but they didn't think he was in any way obligated to come back for the NC game. What really rubs me the wrong way is the hypocrisy in Bo hyping the urgency in getting his regime up and running at Nebraska over the next month during his press conference, and then taking on the obligation of DC duties at LSU for the very same time period. My understanding is he will be recruitting until the dead time, then go back down to LSU to help the team prep for the NC. I know that he and TO were in Omaha yesterday, visited Central, Westside and Millard North.

I know I am not perfect, but I try. I find it harder to understand obvious misspellings (knoes) that another poster loves to use. Or missing contractions doesnt rather than the correct doesn't or does not. And no, many adults will not be able to understand you what you're saying, because we are still stuck on the idea of grammar and spelling adding to the content.

I pretty much ignore the posts where I cannot understand the spelling or grammar. It is very hard to give an intelligent response to someone who does not type clearly. I am sure I am not missing that much.

Now only if he will stop preaching about GOD everytime he speaks! Get over it, that will NEVER happen. I believe he is also a minister, so preaching is natural for him.

(will muschamp, john tenuta) as for the rest of you, continue to sit around and delude yourself about the future, thats ok! based on what ive heard about bo's past here he did well, so congrats, apparently thats a good hire. but, the only thing i can deduce from this is mediocre in the sec = succesful in the big 2/anywhere else. I am not going to argue that the Big 12 is better than the SEC cause the SEC probably is stronger, but is not that much stronger. I know everyone down south is thinks their football is so great and they play so tough and they only reason they dont win the NC every year is cause they beat each other up all year. But seriously the SEC is that far ahead of the Big 12 and Pac 10. I mean just look at the SEC non-conference schedules and results. The only quality win the SEC has against a non-conference foe is LSU handily over V-Tech. What other win can you look at and say now that right there shows that the SEC is great. Auburn over K-State(barely)....NO K-State sucks and Auburn is like #3 or 4 in the SEC. Georgia over OKie State umm NO, Georgia is #2 in the SEC and OK. St. is like #7 or 8 in the Big 12. S. Carolina over N.Carolina, again NO NC is terrible and only won 4 games this year. But if you look at the losses there are a few SEC team that loss to a non-conference opponet, where you can look at that game and say that conference jsut might be better than the SEC. Alambama losing to Florida St. is a game that doesnt tell you much cause both teams arent that great, but then the next week Alabama loses to La. Monroe, come on that is pretty pathetic. By the way who coaches Alamabama, ohh ya Nick Saban, all of LSU fan's man crush. Then Auburn(top team in the SEC) goes down to South Florida who then proceeds to fall off the college football map with 3 losses in a row later in the season. Finally probably the most telling loss by an SEC team is Tennessee to Cal, after that loss Tennessee went on to win its division and Cal went on to suck the rest of the year and finish 7th in the Pac 10. So dont give me all this crap about how "mediocre in the sec = succesful in the big 2/anywhere else" cause it is total BS. I know the SEC is great and blah blah blah, but it is not nearly as far ahead and everyone down there thinks it is. I HAVE WATCHED BO COACH FOR THREE YEARS. as i said earlier on paper everything looks honkie-dorie i don't have facts now, just my opinion, which is based off first hand experience... just wait, 1 year from today, ill have all the facts i need, trust me! I cannot believe that so many LSU fans are upset that Bo's defense was ranked 3rd in the nation for the last 3 years. It was the defense that got them the win in the SEC game, and that means into the NC. I would not hold triple ot losses against him, the deck is stacked against defense because of where the play starts. Guess we will see if you are still around in a year.

Don't bring rational thinking into the conversation. Thank you for using rational thinking. It may help to calm some of the fake rumors down. And I agree about why the players did that to Bo.

It is not that NU cannot afford it, it is that TO does not believe it should be all about the money. That would be a mark in Gill's favor, because I believe he probably feels the same. Not sure how Bo feels about it, could be he feels the same.
