  1. Look at that scholly list HOLY SH..........
  2. Ya he's a distant cousin of Tony Montana
  3. Thats great to hear.....at least he's trying to see what Nebraska might have to offer him and during his time in Lincoln he should do more research into our academics and then tour the weight room and the Hawks Athletic Complex!!!!
  4. I just hope that they get their act together
  5. I was wondering if someone could make me an animated gif or avatar of the Cory Schlesinger scoring the game winning touchdown for Nebraska against Miami. I'm not a computer specialist or anything but I've notice that Husker Power and Street Novelist has one and I would like to have one of Nebraska. I don't know if theres a website that already has some that I can pick from but I would really like it if someone could make me one or point me in the right direction to find the Cory Schlesinger winning touchdown. And for you information even walking me through the steps on making one is pointless cause I've tried it already and I still have no idea on what I'm doing
  6. I wonder what he said about our spring game attendence and the game itself?
  7. I hope that our Agricultural Science structure here in Lincoln will help this guy in his decision to play here at Lincoln. I know that he said that he's really close to his mother and stuff but who isn't. Most of these college players are close to their parents and family but if you want to make it big and play some where, where they've develope great quarterbacks in the past few years, I think that Nebraska should be in the top spot. This kids sounds like he could be another frazier/crouch in him and that could be very well on what we are trying to find. I wish this kid the best of luck and where he goes whether its A&M or Nebraska that he goes to the school with the best Agricultural Science class that hes looking for.
  8. Hopefully we can do better in the NCAA tourney
  9. My ex-girlfriend tried out in St. Louis a few years ago and she told all of us when she got back that it was a joke......maybe this is what she was talking about......hell I just thought that she said that is because she might not of had enough money to pay to get it or something. It's weird because she has a lot of awards for singing and went down to Lincoln like 2-3 years in a row to sing all-state choir down there in Lincoln and I think that all-state choir pick the best from schools in the same district...I think thats how it goes. She sings in a band around Sioux City and Vermillion, SD and their band is called Stealing Mercury. Hey at lest you tried out though.
  10. I would agree with you 110%. I watched this season from beginning to end for the first time ever besides the first season, but I noticed that it's not only "what can we sell this year", people will only vote for the better looking guys instead of the talented musicians. People can just be knuckleheads
  11. If thats the way you want to look at it......ummmm ok. I've only seen the first American Idol but I had to watch this one because they additioned in Omaha and plus there was a girl from Sioux City who made it to Hollywood. So ya I watched American Idol this year and I could give a rats ass if anyone thinks that my man card should be revoked........thats just retarded. Maybe if you had a wife or a girlfriend, you just might know where i'm coming from.
  12. Anybody watch this last night. I've been watching it this whole season with my girlfriend and we've been a big fan of David Cook because he additioned in Omaha, NE and he's a rocker I'm glad that the other David the retard didn't win for he would be perfect singing to my grandmother putting her to sleep. Go ahead and poke and make fun of me but if anybody watched Idol, David Cook would turn any song into a rock song........I think that Cook will be big like Daughtry if not bigger. Newsday.com.........As expected, a David did win the seventh season of "American Idol." Just not the David some of us (ahem) predicted. David Cook, Texas-born, Missouri-raised, and a former bartender who will never have to tend another bar in his life, won "Idol" Wednesday night, and it wasn't even close. Per Ryan Seacrest, 97.5 million votes were cast, and of those about 55 million votes went to Cook. He didn't look that surprised when the nod went to him just before 10. "I started this season as the word nerd, and I'm at a loss for words," he said, wiping away tears, and maybe a season of doubting Thomases who believed he would never make it this far. "This is amazing. Thank you." And he turned away from the audience, before welcoming his brother, Andrew, on the stage. "This is his fault." Yes, some fault. His brother encouraged him to audition last year for "Idol," and now the rest is history. Adam -- "AC" -- is his other brother, suffering from cancer and an unseen presence on this season's show. His initials have appeared on his brother's guitar and his illness has been part of the Cook legend. And the other David? The 17-year-old Utah native was the front-runner much of the season. He stumbled during the Beatles rounds, but "Idol" -- cleverly -- never indicated that his votes were starting to tail behind Cook's, as they did (per bloggers) about five weeks ago. On Tuesday's finale, he easily won the duel of the front-runners: He sang better, and with more passion, than Cook, but perhaps Simon Cowell's words should have served as a sign of things to come. For years, Cowell's reputed get-out-the-vote strategy for his favorite has been to chastise the contestant he wants to win. Why? So that fans will be motivated to vote against Simon. Begs, of course, another question: Why would "Idol" and Cowell want David Cook as opposed to the equally gifted David Archuleta to win? Perhaps because "Idol" and its record producing sibling, 19 Entertainment, simply believe David Cook will sell more records in the long run. (Also, Archuleta's father, Jeffrey, was considered difficult and a meddling backstage dad -- not fun as a potential partner.) Meanwhile, how about that finale? Exhausting, endless (nearly) and undeniably entertaining. The show was sort of like an extended time-warped Grammys, spread over half a century, with stars who appeal to a demographic spread between the ages of 8 and 80. For a show that's been buried by critics, pundits, and opposing networks anxious to throw some dirt on the "Idol" coffin, last night's capper sure acted like a lively, culturally aware corpse. It started with a Nickelback duet between the two Davids and ended with George Michael. What did this all mean? That "Idol" had something to prove. This megahit can still draw the big names, create an "Event," and make the pundits swallow their words.
  13. I'm sure they spoke to her.............They probably whistled at her than spoke to her in a good cop bad cop type of way.
  14. I'll be at that game to hear the crowd go crazy when our boys take the field!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I think that Bo Pelini will be a great coach and even though we've only seen him coach one game, IMO I think that Bo will be here for about 10 years if not longer. But if I could think of any former player that could make a huge difference in this program as a coach, I think that Jason Peter would be an excellent choice. He's been with the Huskers ever since leaving this program. Jason Peter knows what it takes to win Championships and he's got this huge love for the game and for this state. So this is who I'd pick for coaches for this former player thread. Coach - Jason Peter RB Coach- Lawerence Phillips LOL j/k.........it'll take Ahman Green QB Coach - Turner Gill Lineman Coach - Will Shields Defensive Line coach - Neil Smith or Grant Wistrom (Get Wistrom and Peter coaching together.....we'll have a dominant defense again) DB coach - Mike Brown or maybe Fabian Washington Most of this former players that I've picked have had some great success in the Pros and have still maintain their passion for the Huskers. I believe that most of these players if not all will pump up our players for them to knock someones head off.
  16. I would've made a shirt that read "95' Huskers greatest football team ever"
  17. WTF!!!!!!!! We've been looking good all season and now they want to pull this s*%t. We have a four game losing streak.....thats sad. This very same thing happened to our Volleyball team. We looked good during the season until the playoffs came and they choked. Come on Boys lets do this...........it's time to throw off the gloves and get dirty
  18. BOULDER, Colorado (AP) -- It wasn't exactly pistols at 30 paces, but police say a security company supervisor and a restaurateur shot each other with Tasers in a "bonehead" confrontation over parking. The Tasering was "just kind of a bonehead deal." Police Sgt. Pat Wyton told the Camera newspaper. Officers said neither man needed medical attention after the Saturday confrontation, but Harvey Epstein, co-owner of Mamacitas restaurant, was arrested on suspicion of felony menacing and using a stun gun. A police report said Epstein and Casey M. Dane, a supervisor for Colorado Security Services Inc., were arguing over a metal boot that one of Dane's guards had clamped on a wheel of a van parked behind Mamacitas. Dane told police he was afraid Epstein was going to hit him with a 2-foot-long pair of bolt cutters. Epstein told police he had only tried to remove the boot with the bolt cutters and hadn't threatened anyone with them. Epstein told police Dane put his hand on a holstered pistol and threatened to shoot him. Dane told The Associated Press by telephone that he did put his hand on the holstered pistol but never threatened to shoot Epstein. Both men drew Tasers. "They shot each other," Police Sgt. Pat Wyton told the Camera newspaper. "It was just kind of a bonehead deal." The guard claimed the van, owned by a Mamacitas employee, was on property he was hired to patrol. The van owner denied that. Epstein, 36, told the AP in a phone interview Sunday he took out his Taser only after Dane pointed his at him and his mother, who was also outside. Epstein also said Dane repeatedly told him he was a police officer and that failing to comply with his orders was a federal offense, allegations that Dane denies.

  21. Whats the BBB and whats their phone number? I really do think that it's Wal-Marts fault beause they sell this 2 year warranty and they have no idea on how it works.....they're not really trained on it I think their just playing games with me and making me loop around the whole situation and pretty much laughing at me. I'm going to call Wal-Marts corrporate number on Tuesday and demand a NEW PS3 and I could care less if its the 40gb, 80gb, or even the new 160gb coming out soon. I'm going to place a sticker somewhere on my PS3 when I ship it and when I get it back I'll be able to tell if its a new one or the same one hehehe.
