  1. look at it this way, you get to yell at kids to get off your lawn on the internet too!
  2. OK it was a National tragedy when NU played for the title w/o winning their conference, but it is all good for 'bama?? The BCS is a complete failure, what a kick in the nuts if Alabama wins the National Title but wasn't good enough to win their own conference.
  3. Bo probably has a friend he went to Jr. High with that hasn't got to coach in the NCAA yet... Good luck to Carl and Stoops would be sweet to land, but figure the status quo will be to promote within.
  4. Yeah, but LOL Steve Pederson. One of the great burning questions that I've had in my mind for 5 years now is, Where would the program be had Solich not been fired? Would he still be coaching? How successful would he have been? Too bad we'll never know. From what I have read in the past is that the talent pool was draining under Solich which was pretty evident in Callahan's first couple years, also that Solich didn't have much of the attention and respect from the players during his stint. But to also answer your question is that it would have been interesting to see what he "could" have done, but at the same time probably not bring in the talent that Callahan did, Taylor, Lucky, Suh, Prince etc...

    Crick

Crick is in for a long season, looks like he got his bell rung pretty good.
  6. I agree. I was more in shock than anything, but I never booed, except when they showed the Big 12 during the tunnel walk lol. And I was real disappointed at the people who booed at the interception. I mean we were trying to get some points before the end of the half, so we sort of forced the issue, that I'm fine with. What really disappointed me was the missed tackles on Miller that got them into field goal range before the end of the half.. But I will say, this team definitely does not quit and plays their best when their backs are against the wall. I heard that Bo Pelini turned around toward the crowd and waved a hand of digust when the fans started booing. Is that true? you know the camera showed him do it, but you could not tell who it was intended for, of course ABC was going to zoom in on Bo when the booing started to see what his reaction would be and of course Drunkberger in the booth right away pointed out that it was towards the fans but how the hell does he know.
  7. The D is just outplaying themselves, Bo and Carl can do or say whatever they want to prepare and motivate, but the D have just not put that out on the field for 4 qrts. The only plus last night is that the secondary did not get constantly burnt on long balls. Moving Jean Babtiste to CB could be a brilliant move for this Defense. The kid is big and has long arms, will give another good CB opposite Dennard.
  8. I am glad he is pissed, I hope the whole team is pissed. I wouldn't expect Tmart to be all rainbows and sunshine with the media today.
  9. I would like to think that they are still trying to gain some confidence with TMart and how he adjusts to adversity. He will not grow as a player if the coaches keep him in his comfort level. Their is a lot of talent on this team, but something is not gelling on the coaching staff to put it together.
  10. I don't feel the need to dispute anything, you are not saying anything that is incorrect. It is a hard pill to swallow watching your team outplay themselves. This is a sad football team that needs to find something quick or it will be a long season....
  11. The thing that bothers me the most is that the D forgot how to hit someone, I see more guys trying to arm tackle every game. When the front four actually did get in the back field there was not control and all Wilson had to do is take one step in either direction and they flew right by them. 3 Turnover that lead to TD's will not help anyone, but with the D playing horrid you wont get much chance for a comeback either. Did Wiscy even punt the ball Saturday? Lots of ???? with this team.
  12. Run out this damn clock... the D needs to be put to bed today
  13. What they hell is up with the secondary!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I'd say in and of itself the officiating in this game has been as bad (both ways), but ultimately even the Husky fans have to admit that the kick catch interference calls had no effect on the outcome of the game. true, can't say I'm too impressed with the B1G refs though...
  15. Kick-catch interference did not lose the game for Wash but i have never seen that many called
