The only downer of taking the money is the chance of being buried in the minors never seeing the big leagues.

On the fence, sucks not to play them anymore, but every 2 years lost too much anyway. Was too young to remember or really pay attention in the 80's, so my personal memories of OU is the beatdowns in the 90's and 00 and 01. Nothing more than nostalgia for this kid.

My point is (besides my poor stat reference) is that how can you compare teams when they never played each other, I get sick of hearing that. And like HuskerJock stated, when you are surrounded by Hawkeye fans they will be the first to rub it in when the Huskers lose, and EVERY Hawk fan in this area will do that. I never understood why they cared, they would lose to NW (or whoever) but still rub it in if the Huskers lost

For those that do live in the state (me included)is the fact that Iowa fans will boast about how great they "have" been the last 10 years compared to NU. I still wonder how they always come to that conclusion when they DIDN'T EVEN PLAY EACH OTHER!!!!!! But lets see- 2000-2009 Iowa 80-45 NU- 84-44 I'd say looks pretty close to me, but Iowa fans will still claim that they were better during this time.

I have an electric smoker also, I find it easier to regulate the heat better. I have had propane also, but I think the electric smoker is easier to use.

meh, look at it both ways though, the father of the little girl would be none to happy if a rider got sick from the lemonade and sued him. There are 10's of thousands of riders on Ragbrai and not all are good people. It only takes one incident for things to get ugly that is why they make all towns have their vendors get permits to cover their own behind. A couple of years ago a rider was in an accident and died, the family sued the county since the route was on a county road and won, so the county decided that RAGBRAI was not allowed to run through their county.

Thanks for the input everyone, I think I am leaning towards a PS3, I see they have a couple package deals with Call of Duty and another one with Tiger Woods. Sounds pretty good to me!

Finally about done with my man cave and looking for a new gaming system to compliment the new big screen. Which platform is best? Have had a PS2 and never have played any type of Xbox. The 1 thing that leans me towards PS3 is the blu-ray player. Other than that is there really a difference between the 2? Have had a couple friends tell me that they have had to get their PS3 sent in for repair, is that a common thing?

i will miss playing ISU, some of my best friends are ISU alums, and always had a great time getting together in Ames, and now have no good reason to get to Ames since NU probably wont "ever" be back.

Was in Milwaukee this weekend and attended the 2nd annual Brewfest, it was amazing. If ever in Wisconsin check out some of the local brews up there, they know their beer. You wont be disappointed.
