So if I am reading the majority here correctly, you (majority) believe the government always knows best. Apparently, you have not been watching as cable TV (a highly regulated and government controlled entity) dies a slow death, because the internet is much cheaper, and with more options to watch programs on! Why do you think the government wants control of the internet? It's because they are losing control over what you watch! (Remember, the Obama Care was to bring costs down, you can keep your dr..it was about control) They try to sell it as if its good for you, which is how they sell everything that gives them more control over your life! My uncle was a Telecom Engineer of over 30 years, having lived through the debacle of the wireless roll out courtesy of the FCC, I got to see the FCC's ineptitude up close and personal. The FCC's indecision and bungling delayed the introduction of cellular technology by 40 years and smart phone technology by 10 years. The USA is the world leader in the development of internet technology; precisely because it has been relatively unfettered by federal and state regulation.

I found prior to Net Nutraulity the internet worked fine, and even after it was repealed it works fine today... Don't by into a fancy name- "Net neutrality" "affordable healthcare" "planned parenthood"--all misnomers IMHO... the free market works fine. If someone wishes to invest in faster ISPs etc.. then those willing to pay the extra cost, can have a fast track pass just like Disney

Sorry-- A&M has the largest (most givers of cash) active(in power 5) alumni in the US.

Jimbo to A&M... I read one time that almost 82% of ALL of their alumni give at least $100 a year... think about that. Long term, I think that is a better way to fundraising then having 4-6 giant ATM dispensing cash at a university. Then those large contributors can't pretend to be Jerry Jones with a program. Thoughts?

Isn't it amazing how fast time is traveling away from those guys, and how slow it is traveling waiting for Coach Frost? It is like Christmas as a kid. Now, as an adult, it is almost like you go towed, wake up and it is another holiday. You lose all that magic of a holiday-- but not this Sunday/Monday-- I am giddy like a school kid. I wonder if Coach frost will speak during the Nebraska-Kansas basketball game?

Man, I am getting the impression some people on here like to open a few Christmas presents in advance. Frost is coming... so onto the question of the hour. Is it cool to let kids open gift or two ahead of the official opening of gifts? And to keep it in the spirit of Coach Frost, let it be about advice Coach would give to his newborn. I will go first- "baby frost, we have tradition around here and you better get used to it, gifts are to be open the day of Christmas"

I wonder which animals Coach Frost will pursue for his first official Nebraska hunt as our new HC?... it will be pheasant/quail season, goose- shoot those at a private golf course if he does not have the time, late season deer, rabbit/squirrel, coyotes will be out and attacking those silky terriers in people's backyards- maybe he can clean up that mess too.

Scott has verbalized he is coming.. I believe he is a man of his word and will sign the contract on Sunday/Monday... rest easy. This is like someone getting an new girlfriend before dumping his old girlfriend... But not getting married until previous divorce is final.. those things matter.

We are going to have to stock our lakes a little better around Lincoln, so future Nebraska Coach Frost will have some better fishing
