  1. Three, if you count Darlington.
  2. I wouldn't really include Turner on that list, AFAIK he was recruited more as an athlete and saw decent play time at WR. And Darlington, well, you all know his story.
  3. Going off on a tangent, I work for a company that does a lot of work on accessibility for websites and media. We've worked with some other universities on getting their various sites and such up to spec. (I don't think I can name names, but some pretty well-known ones - Ivy League, even.) This is an area that's problematic for us: most social media sites don't provide a way to attach a soft subtitle (closed caption) to a video, which allow it to be toggled on & off as needed. So instead, we have to do a hard sub (open caption), which is part of the video itself and thus always visible to all users. Being a state agency, the University almost certainly has some legal requirements to make things it puts out accessible, which might even include videos like this.
  4. <insert Ferentz whining about Lee getting an extra year of eligibility> Different situation, but hey.
  5. @4skers89 Well, Verduzco said they need "speed and athleticism". Take the ones that have that, then take the ones that are eligible to play this year, and how many do you have left?
  6. Vedral or Bunch? Or, you know, just get down to the scholarship cap.
  7. Potatoes O'Brien's speed, in his own words: “I’m definitely not (Deshaun Watson), maybe like a slow Carson Wentz, but I try my best.” https://247sports.com/college/nebraska/Bolt/OBrien-ready-if-needed-against-Penn-State-110500705
  8. The most durable pair of shoes I ever owned happened to be a simple pair of Nike slip-ons. Wish I had them again.
  9. If Niles Paul didn't have stone hands, he'd win this one, uhh, handily. But as it stands, I think I have to go with Kinnie.
  10. I'm surprised the Johnny Stanton Fan Club hasn't shown up yet.
  11. OT, but other than the height, I think that describes Potatoes O'Brien right now: more of an occasional scrambler than a true running QB.
  12. HC-wise, I still feel like Gill at KU had a bit of the same problem as Riley at Nebraska: nice guy who was never able to truly take charge and get control of his team.
  13. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/ucf-knights/os-ucf-erik-chinander-football-post.html
  14. You always wonder what an alt-2004 with Solich would've looked like. Probably safe to say Joe Dailey would've been a better fit for that offense than he was in Callahan's, but would he have even been up to par? He didn't exactly set the world on fire after he transferred, though he had a knack for signing with coaches who were on their way out...
  15. It means he's from Belgium. You know, like how the players have area codes on the back of their helmets. I'm sure you could get a hat like that in Belgium.
  16. One of the biggest knocks against Armstrong, IMO. T-Mart at least showed some real improvement as a passer by his junior year.
  17. There's alternatives to air puff tests these days (Goldmann tonometry, iCare, etc.). If you hate it that much, look for another doc that doesn't use it.
  18. Inexpensive, well made, and can do just about everything with the right setup: Weber kettle Best smoker if you're not looking to spend an arm and a leg: Weber Smokey Mountain Possible other option: Char-Griller Akorn kamado. Not quite as well made as a Weber and can be finicky to control, but incredibly fuel efficient and has a much broader temperature range. Get some lump charcoal for fuel, or search Craigslist for BBQ wood suppliers.
  19. At the very least, he was our most consistent and reliable QB, except maybe Ganz. Other than those two, we've had sooo many QBs that were like Jekyll and Hyde, 'what are we going to see this week?'
  20. So in other words, the players aren't as bad as the last coaching staff made them look. I don't think that will surprise anyone...
  21. I've always said Lord's biggest 'flaw' was simply that he couldn't be a one-man offense like Crouch was. The thing is, he shouldn't have needed to be a one-man offense, but that's the kinda way things were Solich's last few years.
  22. Voted T-Mart, but I almost have to ask which T-Mart. Early T-Magic the runner? Junior year, really not a bad passer T-Mart? Gimpy, injured T-Mart?
  23. And Joe Dailey is Turner Gill's offensive coordinator and QB coach at Liberty.
