HOw come I think I agree with you Husker shark? I am proficient in 3 languages, But I think/know that some on this site do speak Bo PELINI! Sissy walked out! End of story. He transfers to some unknown school never to be heard from again! I remember a certain Army school I attended in the military. There were Seals there, there were force recon and recon marines there! There were other special units there! I remember seeing how big these guys were and in the back of my mind thought no way I could compete with them and was very intimidated. Needless to say as the school went on I watched some 5 star guys fall out. Was I the best? Heck NO! But I kept grinding it out. Well Chase Rome was one of those special players that mentally quit is all! By the way did not finish the school! something about a PLF and hitting head, head and head finished me off/lol. After seeing how we fared against UCLA, I just don't know. Our continuing struggles against mobile QB's has me really, really really worried. Our saving grace last year was having a good DT and Lavonte David at LB. How many plays did he blow up that Compton/Whaley just aren't fast enough to have gotten to? It was a lot. Unless we spend our practices this week rotating some of our secondary guys as a hybrid LB/S type that is a spy, we are screwed. If we don't make adjustments, I really think we might lose. I guess it boils down to if we make adjustments and how our defense reacts to the UCLA loss. Do they get pissed and hatestomp Arkansas State or are they demoralized and roll over? I guess we'll find out Saturday. Btw, I lost a 100 pushup bet against my XO on the UCLA game. FML

Foppa, I understand your point, but wouldn't having yet another Heisman candidate and/or winner at Nebraska help with recruiting? Bo Pelini is known as a defensive minded coach who nearly coached the 1st Dlineman to win the Heisman, so having an OFFENSIVE player in the running can only help us out. Not to mention that 9/10 the winner of the Heisman is usually on a team in contention for the NC. So while I see your point, that the focus should be on the team, I believe that having T-Mart as a Heisman candidate can only help the team out by getting more exposure for Nebraska to those recruits who may not know that much about us.

Hey all, I was browsing around on ESPN and saw that there is a Heisman trophy poll up already. Anyone have any idea who to contact about getting T-Magic on the list? With Sexy Rexy's injury, even if he only misses a game or two, will hurt his stats enough that I don't think he can win the Heisman. That being said, Martinez's aerial display has shown, IMHO, that he can be a legitimate Heisman candidate. Now obviously this is still very early in the season, but if they have a poll up already, we need to get on it. I'd be willing to bet that the OP was one of the people that threatened to move to Canada if Obama won the election.......and then never did. I understand that you may not like Bo Pelini as the Nebraska head coach. Every one has their own opinion on that. But to decide to stop rooting for your alma mater, a TEAM that you've loved and cheered for for years if ridiculous. Did you stop supporting the troops just because Obama was in charge of us? I doubt it. Just cuz you think the head guy in charge is a douche, doesn't mean you give up on the TEAM. Take some midol and get overself, with all due respect, of course.

Why does there have to be another reason? I'm sure the words she uses are just fine, but I don't really care. The sound of a woman's voice announcing football annoys me, and probably 98% of other football fans out there too. she sounds like nails on a chalk board, and her laugh makes me want to punch babies in the face. This literally made me laugh out loud. I used to make that joke all the time (punching babies), but it didn't get a good reaction 90% of the time. I'm glad someone else thinks its funny. who said he was joking.....?

LIES! Nah, I'm not sure what the big deal is. I play CoD and even WoW sometimes. AFTER my shiat is done. I don't get the whole playing games for 8 hours straight. But the person above nailed it on the head when they said the cute/funny boy suddenly starts being looked at as husband material. That's why women expect us to change. And when we don't, they become the nagging, obsessive, no longer fun, shrews that we loathe. As for the OP, the reason why ignoring women, especially attractive ones works is because you are creating an image of being too good for them. They don't understand why someone as hot as them isn't interesting you and want to find out. They wonder what you have that makes you so special. Add in some mocking remarks about them that puts them on defensive and you win. I'd rather be able to crack some jokes and get chicks, but the ignoring/insulting a-hole route actually works much better, sad to say.

its the complete lack of consistency on offense that i don't particularly care for. the defense is pretty consistent in shutting down opponents, much more so than the offense. they are going to have games where we could obviously do better. however, without t-mart coming along, our offense would be the exact same as it was in '09. while he's been injured we are seeing the same or worse offensive performance as we had last year. this is rediculous and unacceptable. we have great talent on offense but can't focus and put it together. if they had great games most of the time and only a few hiccups every now and then, i wouldn't care.

screw all of the haters lol. soccer is the sh#t. i love watching USA play soccer as much as i love watching the huskers. the amount of skill it takes to manipulate the ball with just your feet, thighs, chest, and head is incredible. it's called the beautiful game for a reason.
