I was in my basement with my cousin ( he was jumpin on the bandwagon at the time ) and two of my best friends ( one is a CU fan and the other is just a husker hater ) ... I'm smiling ear-to-ear just thinking about it.. that play lasted forever .. it was like slow motion .... i'm getting goosebumps thinkin about how excited my cousin got and finally I wasn't alone.. it wasn't 1 vs. 3 anymore it was 2-2 ... they were poutin' like little pu$%ies !! top five greatest husker memories all time for me

last season wasn't a fluke for Kansas.... it was an easy schedule and they took care of business, plain and simple.. they had a very good team last year, and they proved it with the Orange Bowl win this year's schedule will be much more difficult

it gives me goosebumps thinking about how a team reflects their coaching... I can't wait to see some hitting and ballhawking !

my cousin moved up to Washington in '03 and he always hated Nebraska because all they did was win the boring way, with the run game (his opinion).. then came Callahan and he started liking NU more and more and all of a sudden he was riding shotgun on the bandwagon because they were not winning all the time and were more exciting with the passing game... it's hilarious because he was the biggest hater you'd ever meet and suddenly every saturday he'd be calling me before kickoff yelling about how the Huskers were gonna tear it up while he's getting hammered at his favorite hole in the wall bar which he called the "Husker Bar" and everyone's wearing red !!

right now overall I actually think the north is tougher top to bottom... what's everyone else's thougts ?

Cy - that is a totally logical scenario... but here's the thing, KU is ranked # 7 because of last year so there's no way ISU has a better record at the end of next season, just ask Clone !

couple things : 1) who cares if KU is #7 ? rankings don't mean crap 2) a lot of posters need to realize when a troll like JUGS30 comes on here and tries to piss everyone off, then you post back at them questioning their sanity, it get's that troll all geeked up... just ignore morons like that

I think this guy is easily the best recruit in this class. Championships are won in the trenches and he is a freak of nature that's gonna be causin' all kinds of problems. I can't wait to see him in action
