What in the world is wrong with Illinois? I am from Nebraska, but I live in IL now, and can't say I would know what your problem is, outside of the criminal state politicians!!! There are 8 classes of high school football here and the top 3 classes have tons of D-1 talent, sure would think you would want to keep recruiting it. If nothing else, Joe Ganz has proven that out!

As much as I hate Daniel, I will be chearing him in Mizzou's bowl! I will be chearing for all of the BIG 12. We got some respect this year, and I want to see the BIG 12 earn it in the bowls. It starts with OU. They need to finally win a BCS game....oh, and the championship that will come with it (this chearing thing may be asking a little too much!!!!HA!)

I am just glad we are talking about NU getting its respect back....or at least on its way to getting some respect. Remember how we were all feeling just a year ago? I am SO GLAD CALLY IS GONE!!!!

Clemson will have to throw the ball to beat us. I don't think they will just be able to run all over us. Our offense (barring turnovers) is much more balanced, and that is why we will win - NU 31 Clemson 17. Mark it.

I would hate to see Watson leave. Lets face it....our offense was our best defense this year. I would think TO knowing Bo's expertise for defense would be willing to up the anty$$$ for Watson to stay. Everything you have heard from Watson is how much he thinks of TO. Hope we can figure out how to keep him. Outside of the Mizzou game, I think Watson has been great as our OC and with his play calling.

Outside of Bradford going down with an injury in the first quarter, there is no way Mizzou wins this game......

ESPN is so busy thinking up polls....so they can sell a sponsorship....they don't take any time to figure out if they are good polls......I am an ESPN fan.....only because I don't have a good alternative. I would have thought Herbstreit was in charge of this poll, but there isn't enough USC and Ohio State on the pole for him to be involved.....

Have to admit I like the red top and all white pants with the red socks. Of course we won a lot of games with them!!!! I will say this... the all white unis are cool too, but I can't help associating losing and Cally with them! Enuf time with Bo and them and I could get passed that I am sure!

I had posted before the game that I was bringing my sons, ages 7 & 16 from Illinois for the game. The 16 year old is a huge husker fan. The 7 year old is still learning until that game. To be in that stadium with my boys for that game was awesome. The 7 year old cheared the entire game. You can only imagine how excited he was when we hit that kick. It is a memory that I and the boys will remember our entire life. Thanks Alex and big Suh!!!! Needless to say, the 7 year old is completely sold on the beloved big red!!!!

We all must have forgotten that we just beat a very average team in Colorado. If we start the way we did against VA TECH, MIZZOU, OKLAHOMA, AND CU we will get beat. Clemson looks like they have some explosive players. However, if NU plays with the balanced offense we have seen the last few months and controls the clock, I like our chances. I think we have a pretty good defense against the run, Clemson will need to prove they can throw the ball consistently in my opinion. I think this is a great matchup and am so glad to be playing on New Years again where we belong!!!!!! This should be fun!

I'd like to revenge the VA Tech loss too. That one still pizzzzes me off...I think we should have won that one. Our offense is much better than we played that night.....

I was sitting in the CU section with my two sons. The CU fans were having a lot of fun at our expense in the first quarter. We had a lot of fun at their expense after that kick! That will be a moment my sons and I share forever. Another (of many reasons) reason it is great to be a husker fan!!!!! The interception by Suh was great too, because the crowd was going nuts after the kick and it went ballistic when we sealed the deal with the interception.

Yeah those trick plays were fun against CU.....until we played our bowl game against Auburn a few weeks later, and lost the game because of those great trick plays!!!!!!

I can give Cally some credit for giving our offense balance. But as a head football coach he WAS HORRIBLE!!!! He didn't understand how to motivate college athletes and what he did to the Nebraska traditions was RIDICULOUS! The fact he didn't take any ownership in our problems last year was pathetic. He is doing what he should be now, and he should stay far...far...away from being a head coach of a college football program, especially one with the tradition and history of an NU!

Thank the Lord for our down Four! Especially Mr. Suh!!!!!

As is so often forgotten, there should be a balance to life.......an Academic All American is a good example of this. Does NU have any of those? Oh yeah.....we lead the country in Academic All American student athletes!!!! These are the type of people that should be running this country!!!! If Al Gore can win a nobel peace prize.... then you have no argument in my COMMON SENSE opinion! GBR

As much as I would have liked to see Joe at quarterback for a full season last year, I hate the thought it may have prevented Callahan from being fired. This past season has been a great example of why he did not fit in Nebraska! GO BO! GBR. Smack the Buffs!

Cuse is in a BCS conference. That is about where it ends for me. Top 50 program is a stretch. Any job in the SEC and Big 12 are above this job. You take the top 2/3s of the Pac 10, Big 10, ACC, and Big East are all above this job as well. I wouldn't call it a top job for sure.....
