They play the games for a reason and that is you can win or lose at anytime. Can I say we will win with 100% certanty no, but I do believe we have a shot. This game is going to be tough for us and you guys have shown you defend your house well. Not many people come into there and leave with a W. the last few seasons have showed we play better football away from home so I am hoping for a great effort by both teams and a clean game where both teams walk of with a mutual respect for what just happened. Bo showed class with this decision. The game was won, if he had tried to punch it in and we were to lose a lineman or even the back due to an injury this board would melt down telling him he should have taken the Knee. I have no issue with ending the game the way we did. GBR GBR GBR

This is nothing but good news.

I personally think we will play better than we have all year, will it be enough I have no idea. Wi. is a very good team and ready for smash mouth football. They will not be intimidated by anything we throw or run at them. Their O line is a lot like what we used to put out there. They have the home field which means we are limited to what we can put on the sidelines due to travel restrictions. If we can survive the initial surge they will have form the anticipated hype we have a chance. The Blackshirts need to step up and play lights out, and our O line will need to play agressive. We will need to have long drives that result in scores and consuming time to keep their offense off the field. If they have the long sustained drives and say we match them with quick 3 play scores we will wear down on D and be unable to keep them in check. This will be a great win if we can pull it off, GBR GBR GBR that is Husker RED

I'm a Sooner fan and as much as it pains me, I think Oklahoma bears part of the blame. I'll never understand how come Oklahoma didn't stand with Nebraska when they were ready to bolt to the Big 10. The Sooners needed to make a stand with Nebraska and ask other Big 12 Schools to do the same to rein Texas in. Don't misunderstand me, Texas had and still does have the right to do anything it wants that is in the best interest of their University. I think as long as the BIG 10 is able to increase its over all value then we should look for the teams that will help achieve that. Like another person posted. Dont bring in someone just for our benifit of having an old rival on board. We chose to go and the BIG 10 chose to accept us. We cut our strings with the Big 12 when we moved over. We are BIG 10 now and that is where our focus should be. If a MU or KU is decided as a best fit for OUR conference then we will accept them if not we should not worry about it. We have new rivals being formed and loyalties strengthend. GBR GBR GBR

We were graced with him for 4 years too bad he did not have Bo and company for all 4 years. Can you imagine how much further he would be along in his development. This man is SCARY good.

I think some people are looking at this with their eyes wide shut. We will have some very difficult games in hostile places, we will show up but so will the rest of the Big Ten Teams we face. Nothing would please them more than to beat the new kid and give us a COLD Welcome. I see us having a good year but will not be suprised if we get smacked a couple of times.

I will wish Bubba well with whatever his decision is. If he comes to Nebraska at least he will have a Baseball coach that played football at Nebraska and went on to be a pretty good ball player in Baseball. If he goes baseball more power to him and at least we had a shot at getting him. That alone may have been a factor in T-Mart trying to improve a little harder over the off season. We will find out soon enough and I will be happy for him either way. GBR

I think we have a shot to win every game we will play, will we is another question. Will we get bit by the injury bug, will we find ourselves losing a game or two we could have or should have one, will we win a game or two that we played bad enough to lose? We will find out as the season moves along but I do not see a game on the schedule where I can say a definite loss in, I see a few where like another poster called it a toss up. and that is the best way for me to look at this season. I am excited and hopeful. We need to stay focused on our NEXT game starting on Sundays because once we start playing your next opponet is your biggest threat to ruin your season.
