  1. Well, i'd love to have him, but he'd definitely have to redshirt and spend a year in the weight room. He's only 173 pounds. That is really really light.
  2. But, there's is one thing about these Big 12 qbs. They might not have been the highest rated guys coming out, BUT, they came from high school teams who run the spread. So, when they get into college, they're pretty much running the same offense they did in high school. It makes for a much easier transition.
  3. Screw the "clean" recruiting. Just do anything to get these guys here, except something that lands us on probation.
  4. or hell show him some matt herian footage from 2003 and be like, the same coach who coached him will coach you. Or show him footage of Daniel Graham at CU ripping Nebraska up in the unspeakable game and say, "That Offensive Coordinator could be coaching you." Even though we're recruiting him at receiver, well then, maybe show him some Purify footage against 1st round pick Aquib Talib from Kansas
  5. Did you just make that up off of the top of your head? Oh yes, because I am cool like that. But JUCO coaches and players are notorious for stretching the truth about height, weight and 40 times. Very true, because there are no JUCO camps for them to go to like HS. They can't go to any SPARQ camps, so they can just make whatever measurable they want up, unlike the HS kids who's true times are shown at these camps.
  6. i never really understood this. if they committed here, don't they want to be here?
  7. Did you just make that up off of the top of your head? not sure bout the height/weight but 4.3 40 for a guy that size is rare..most likely a bit slower...just a guess Ya, i agree about the speed, because i really doubt he's that fast, but i'm pretty sure they don't add 15-20 pounds and 2 inches.
  8. theirs. They told him to hold off on commiting till he got his grades up. He got his grades up and still wouldnt talk to him. Ok so that begs the question as to why. Everything I see this kid is a great get, why would PSU cool on him? They have 2 D Ends already committed, and their trying to swing a guy from Michigan i believe. Plus, they already have tons of D ends on the roster, so there's really no need for him.
  9. Did you just make that up off of the top of your head?
  10. Well, i asked on the Florida Gators Rivals Board about this guy, and i got a few responses, with one poster saying that he thought McBurse was the 2nd best player in central florida behind Andre DeBose.
  11. Not sour grapes. He has been inactive and on the bench for a few games this year because of him fighting and arguing with the coaches.
  12. Sweet! Can't get much better then that. Psycho is not a bad thing. Some of you can make a positive out of any negative
  13. I've heard he's a stud that has a nose for the ball, BUT he's a psychopath that has been in run ins with teammates and with the coaches.
  14. IMO, that would be a poor choice to lose interest in coming here because of a game against oklahoma. If thats his attitude, I don't want him. He should want to play for us seeing that we need help and the W-L numbers shouldn't matter. Or why not have a chance to maybe play just as much on a team that kicked our butts? If you were going to be a nickleback for two programs where would you go? Nebraska or Oklahoma? If i was guaranteed the same position at two schools, i'd go to the one who's on top.
  15. Also, on the Whaley vs. Burkhead. They are two completely different backs. Burkhead is just a playmaker and gets things done. Whaley is a big time bruiser.
  16. And Tray is good, but right now he's damaged goods. He needs to heal up. He's had tons of injuries the past two years. There's a reason why he's only getting about 7 carries a game this year.
  17. Rex Burkhead. He's dominating right now. I would love to have him. If he don't commit, then i think we should wait till next year. Some people have said he's dominating Texas football kind of like Wes Welker used to. I don't know how good Welker was in high school, but i'm sure its gotta mean something.
  18. Pipeline is an area where you start getting lots of recruits. Say we get 4 arizona recruits a year, that means we made Arizona a pipeline state. This year we're getting lots of guys from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro, so right now that is a pipeline for us. It's basically when you are signing a lot of guys from a certain area.
  19. Well i got some good news guys. He's moved his commitment date back to October when his dad gets home. Looks like he'll probably be visiting us again. This can only help our chances. LINK BELOW: http://newsok.com/oku-delays-decision/arti.../?tm=1221362963
  20. Hadn't seen this posted but it's between us and BYU. Also, Rivals has him rated as the number 1 run stuffer in the natino
  21. That's because Gray didn't get a ND offer till later. He was a definite Domer when they offered just like Tostenson would be if we offered
  22. Here's an update. Things arel ookign better http://govolsxtra.com/news/2008/sep/10/oku...nt-made-choice/
  23. Ya, to me that's the only logical place. I mean, Louisville got their butts kicked on his trip and his remarks weren't glorifying about it. He has a secret visit this week in which he says he's visiting the biggest game of the week. That's no doubt OSU vs USC. He doesn't have an offer from USC. So that only other school he'll have visited is Tennessee. To me, that's the place he's going. NOTE: One of his best friends is Gerald Jones who is none other than a Vol Stud.
