Fair enough. But I do feel that if USC recruits where all they where cracked up to be. Than they wouldn't have had such a hard time finding a go to RB. Just my opinion, sure others will disagree.

Our offense is LIGHT YEARS better than NC. The only thing that could lose us this game would be turnovers. I've been saying this all summer, we will beat VT. Only question is by how much?

Asante is never going to play LB in the big12, NEVER! He may have gotten to play LB in JC where his size wasn't a detriment, but this aint JuCo! And can you honestly tell me Asante can tackle and play run support better than the boys we have there now? Not a chance!

Damn, have to agree with NewEarth on this one. We have enough players to at least be in the running for a Jan bowl. Anything less will be a little disappointing. But I also feel way to many fans are doubting the staff pelini has hired and it's to early for that kind of criticism. They haven't even had a year with these kids yet!

All true, but most of those transitions took time. Given the time to work out at the position and be trained physicaly for it is the key. And that can't happen overnight.

I've never bought in to that argument. I think it's total B.S. What did human evolution kick into over drive the past decade? Seriously there is more talent spread around, but I think your just being fooled by the complete saturation that the internet and ESPN are providing us. You want to make that argument for say the 71 huskers, then MAYBE you have something. With all the new training regimens, and kids starting camps in 6th grade to be top rated football players. UNC is getting a lot of undeserving hype in my opinion. VT should be able to take this one easy. (And yes I know VT looks pretty bad, but this is UNC we're talking about!)
