I don't live in Nebraska, so this board is pretty much my connection to Husker Nation so bear with me... It's obvious what WE think about Saturday night, and what WE think needs to be changed/fixed, but WE don't matter. What are the coaches saying? Is Carnes to QB a real option or is it just something that we're grasping for after TMart had a terrible game? Defensively, is there a call for change? Is this coaching staff "staying the course" or is there a sense of concern/urgency for them to make some changes as well? Anybody with inside info that can shed some light?

bigg10; you might want to realize that after taking a very tough loss, not many people are in the mood to objectively look at the team. The wound is still a little fresh. Your comments, while possibly accurate and well intentioned, are at the least, poorly timed.

UW has a great team this year. The stadium atmosphere looked like it was a lot of fun too. Hopefully, we'll meet you again in December in the CCG after our team has had a chance to grow up a, well, a lot... (and some of our supposed "fans" too.)

We got beat by a very good football team today. There's no shame in that. We are not yet ready for the top tier of college football. Almost all of our skill positions are VERY young. I still think the future looks very bright and that IF we can bounce back next week, this NU team will be a lot better in December than we were today. This loss wasn't nearly as bad as Texas last year, or ISU in 09. Get a grip folks...

I, for one, am thrilled that almost everybody is expecting UW to roll over the Huskers this weekend. I don't feel like this team has played well as the favorite and it seems that almost all of the pressure is on UW to win this one. Combine that with the fact that the Huskers have tended to play BETTER on the road, and I kind of like our position entering this big game.

They put I-80 in pretty much the ugliest area of the state. It is not representative of the rest of the Wyoming landscape. Honestly, I couldn't care less about what some cocky college kids think about any topic other than football. A Twitter account gives you an avenue to communicate your thoughts but does not in any way guarantee that you have any thoughts worth sharing...

I think that was a posed/staged photo, and very likely the subject of the photo WAS the helmet, with the gloves just serving as a smokescreen. I'd be VERY surprised if the helmets were black for Wisconsin. Though, personally, I do think it would be pretty cool.

Yes, we had two disgraceful loses last year. One to Texas, and one to Washington. Both were disgusting, not because we lost to a better team, but because we beat ourselves so obviously which allowed some fan bases to beat their chests. Texas actually has a history worthy of chest beating. Is there a way to set up a neutral wager with these UW folks? Just want to see if they are actually this confident, or simply running their mouths... I'm certain that you'll get all of the wagers you can handle, and if UW wins, you'll surely make a mint.

I'm no football expert but I believe that if you're giving up TD's, then your defense is bending AND breaking. And I'm quite certain that that's a very bad thing...
