Two years ago, we made the trip from TN to Lincoln for a game. We arrived Friday evening and walked around the stadium getting pictures with the statues, etc. Then, we saw JP walking across the street. He was talking on the phone; so I told my 2 daughters to turn around and smile, and I would take a pic as he walked behind them. JP saw what I was doing, put the person on the phone on hold, came over and posed for a picture, told us GBR, and then continued walking. Definitely struck me as a decent man. I wish him well. He is a young coach and could really grow under a different leader.

What I love, is that he closed the deal over the phone.

It does appear that Mike Riley is hiring his friends much like Bo Pelini... but the difference is HCMR has more experienced coaching buddies. I like the hire (my 2 cents).
