My only other suggestion would be to obviously keep the board free, but for those that wanted to pay whatever nominal fee, you rec'd some spiffy connotation next to your user name that denotes this. The incentive if you will. Just a way to keep the lights on without having to whore out to a ton of crappy ads that I don't want to see and Firebox can't block out.

This wouldn't be a problem if they televised it, hint, hint, nudge, nudge, or at the least, streamed it live via Huskers.com. I understand why they didn't, just really irritating that you can watch damn near any spring game online except NUs.

Hi guys, don't post too much, lurk more. Couldn't find a suggestion box link on this site, but the only reason I hit huskerpedia was to hit their front page to see the new articles linked. Since their site ordeal they've really messed it up and I don't go there anymore. Was just wondering if you guys would incorporate this onto this site, I think it would be a smart thing to do and would never have to hit that site again. I'm sure you could take many huskerpedia site users/hitters to this site in the process. That site is dieing, I've heard now after all these years, you can post there for free instead of paying $20. Eff that. Huskerboard is free and I would gladly Paypal /donate some money to this site like the free software you can get on CNET.

^^^^^^This. The franchise QB, one with Elway-esque characteristics NU gets to face at Washington in a couple months. Why Locker didn't come out, IDK??? The Rams need a QB, they should trade the pick and try like everything to get Locker next year. What physically sticks out with Bradford??? He's already used up goods with that shoulder.

I'm here in Denver so I know a little bit about Mullen. Private Catholic school just outside of Denver and Dave Logan recruits the entire Denver Metro area. They win state practically every year here in big boy football. As for Moore, I thought he'd be too slow to play for NU. But I'm not a talent scout. He's been starting at Mullen since his frosh year, pretty hard to do at that school. I know Logan took Lendale White (USC) with him to Chatfield where he coached before Mullen, so maybe Moore is of comparison. I think there's at least 3, probably more, D1 players at Mullen this year. Moore, they have an excellent LB, and the WR that lives with Brandon Marshall. I think it's Marshall's cousin or some relation. There's also a big dual threat QB that split time starting this year as a sophomore that will definitely be D1 material. Watched one of Mullen's games on the tube and he really stood out.

I don't know who Curt Gowdy is but I'm pretty sure one of the announcers was none other then Lee Corso. It sure sounded just like Corso.

perhaps you're thinking of joe dailey, because lord was a beast with the ball in his hands. Jamal Lord was an absolute warrior at QB for NU. Please don't mistake J-Lo for Daily. I don't think the NU QB single game rushing record holder, 234 yards against Texas, fits this description.

OP don't worry, Dr. Tom will make sure things are fine for NU. Believe me I was a little worried at first, a little panicky. because we all love NU, but now I feel better now after reading and rationalizing some things. TO isn't the only one looking after NU, I'm sure there are many more people that have the pulse on things. Besides this guy, who doesn't necessarily love NU athletics, but he loves NU and respects TO greatly, is there for some muscle if needed.

$$$$$ and primarily not being left out in the cold when the dust settles. You tend to throw those rivalries by the wayside when you're looking out for your own neck. If CU and Mizzou think about bolting, TO better have his ducks in a row and get on the phone with his former player Alvarez at Wisconsin. Because even before it gets to that point Texas will blow the conference up and go to the PAC 10 or Big 10 and let every one else to fend for themselves.

However you're forgetting that the PAC 10 + Big 10 are witnessing just how much cash and notoriety they're missing out on by not having a Champ game. They see the writing on the wall. The BCS contracts are up in 2013, with the MWC gaining more and more steam, which is a direct threat to the PAC 10, they almost have no choice but to expand. The Big East has 8 teams in it's league, by far the crappiest BCS conference. If the MWC is still around then, and they add Boise, Fresno and maybe some others, look for them to take the big east's bid while holding a CHAMP game. This would severely hurt the PAC 10. I don't think they want any of that. The Big 10 + PAC 10 may have no choice but to expand to the CCG route and add teams. Either way, this could really impact NU and I hope TO and the NU AD are being very proactive and watching out for NU. I'm pretty sure stuff will go down in the next couple years, too much $$$$$$$$$$$$ on the line.

ha,ha, ha............I've been following recruiting since these sites were free. Since HI was toughtonydavis.com. Every single QB recruit I have listed, the coach that landed them was their primary recruiter. I'm not disputing some the regions these coaches are assigned to, but not one was the QB coach. You posted nothing but facts that back up my stance. What area does Watson recruit and who has he landed this year?? Busy game planning the O. Oh, I guess he doesn't recruit. Like someone else posted, he watches film, he evaluates, then he comes up with his list. He runs his QB camp in the summer then hands the list off to the staff to sign them. I guess I am wrong, not having a QB sign in this class isn't Watson's fault at all, it's on the staff. Like they don't have other players to recruit.

No. K. Spano is the only QB Watson has signed at NU and he dropped in Watson's lap. If Gundy had room, as planned, Spano would be at OSU right now and Watson would be 0fer. You must not have read my entire other post, without Ekeler, C. Green is at ATM today. FACT. Carl Pelini signed Martinez and held off many PAC 10 schools. Fact. Watson was only their prospective position coach . Hell Watson has recruited a crap load of QBs during his time as a coach, he's just a terrible recruiter. EDIT: There is a BIG reason why Tim Beck is recruiting J. Turner, I'll let you figure this one out.

I don't know about this kid, haven't seen his video, but if you would have asked me before Pelini got here that L. Asante would be projected to go in the 2nd - 3rd round of the draft after his senior year ====== LMAO. Regardless if this kid comes here or not, it's absolutely ridiculous what this staff pulled off in 2 years on the defensive side of the ball. Only Matty O isn't projected to be drafted from the starting seniors in this class. O'hanlon will probably get an invite to camp.
