  1. Sorry guys but the consensus among the beat writers here in St. Louis is Suh will be the pick of the Rams if they get the #1 choice. Spagnolo is a" defense first" type of coach. As others have said, I don't think any QB rates a #1 pick in the draft this year either so Suh it will be. Plus Carriker is finally starting to play like a high draft pick so at least the Rams could have a beast of a defensive line next year. (Although our offense will still suck.)
  2. of course they are... thats why you see a Husker fan wearing his heart on his sleeve and an OLD mizzery fan (who is making a great example for his inbred grandson) gesturing to Nebraska fans... the pics speak volumes about the fan bases. Nebraska = CLASSY FANS Mizzery = ASSFACE FANS I will be glad when the game is over and all the mizzery losers can stick their L's in their azz!! Priceless
  3. I hope you don't wake up in a bathtub full of ice.....minus one kidney.
  4. That is an awesome picture. I'm not a very good swimmer. I would not like to see that coming at me at all.
  5. Fair enough knapplc. I too am curious to see how he does against legitimate competition. I wish the weather would be better though. I'll try not to make excuses if he stinks up the place.
  6. So if Gabbert hangs 300 yards on the Huskers in the rain does this mean that he might be pretty good? I'm just asking because it sounds like you're all happy he transferred.
  7. mizzou has had some great passing days in rain. Rain doesnt bother me as much as wind. Gabbert has over thrown the ball to the receivers quite a bit this season. Maybe if he is throwing into hurricane force winds the ball will fall right into their hands!
  8. Accu Weather is usually pretty good unfortunately. I saw the word torrential as well, they usually don't exaggerate unless it's nearly a sure thing. I can't decide if this is good or bad for my Tigers. I guess it depends on how torrential it is.
  9. Yes it was a very disappointing game for us. I can't believe our defense got gashed that badly in the running game. Our " much improved offensive line " must have spent the previous night at the Mustang Ranch and couldn't get it up for this game. Gabbert has a cannon for an arm as advertised but he's going to have to sit in the pocket longer and get rid of the happy feet. One plus on defense for us besides Spoon was the play of Freshman end Aldon Smith, he looks like he's going to be a stud. Even though Mizzou wasn't impressive at all I wouldn't get too cocky yet. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part but I hope the Tigers were looking past Nevada a little bit towards Oct. 8th.
  10. I'm really hoping that missouri was just looking past this game. Ugly. Ugly game.
  11. But..But Illinois was favored darnit! I tell ya, no respect. <--------for the sarcasm impaired.
  12. We have an inferiority complex down here so any attention is good attention.
  13. I didn't realize that Nevada's stadium was so small, 30,000? Yeah, that should put the fear of God into Mizzou. On paper, it should be a blowout but who knows. The secondary looked good against Illinois but Juice has never been a real accurate passer. The offensive line hasn't been as good as advertised so far this year but that could just be learning a somewhat different system. What scares me the most is Missouri's defense. Not for this game but for Nebraska and the rest of the big 12. If the defense is improved from last year (that shouldn't be hard) we should have a decent shot at the big 12 North, if not we are looking at 8 wins. Prediction: Mizzou 41 - 21

    Uh oh

I swear this is an innocent Question. You all seem to hate Colorado way more than Missouri I understand the record and all but there seems to me genuine hate between CU and yourselves. Any history that I'm not aware about? Kansas hates us also so they can umm gently caress themselves.
  15. Even though I am a Missouri fan I can respect the effort from the Players and Coaches. I've always liked NU even when Mizzou would lose by a stupid amount of points. Please put a hurt on TT and Oklahoma next year! Even though we are in the Big Twelve North I think we all hate the south more.Spank them badly.
  16. To be fair To Pinkel, Brad Smith just wasn't a very accurate passer. I would run out of fingers and toes remembering all of the wide open receivers he missed. He was a fantastic running Quarterback but his passing game was less than stellar.
  17. Even though Mizzou deserves no shot at the NC... I will probably try to light myself on fire If USC or OHIO st gets into the national championship game. The BSC is so aptly named... minus the C of course.
  18. You guys have improved since the Missouri game for sure. You even may beat us next season, we lose three potential 1st round draft picks to the NFL next year. Jeremy Maclin- mr. everything, William Moore- free safety and Chase Coffman- tight end who may have the best hands for a big man on the planet. Although Gabbert has all of the physical tools he is a sophomore with no experience and he will lose two stud receivers. There will be serious growing pains for Mizzou next year. I just hope that we face Texas Tech for the Big 12 Championship this year. We simply don't match up well with Texas or Oklahoma.
  19. Silly me. I thought I had found a message board with a high signal to noise ratio. Oh well, I have learned to live with disappointment.

    Mizz CU

Well, Missouri got their backsides handed to them by Texas and Colorado happened to be the whipping boy. They lost almost any hope of a national championship against Texas and they were mad. Sorry Buffs. Pinkel? Time to get larger offensive and defensive beef on the lines. Texas pushed us around on both sides of the ball.
  21. I know I'm beginning to sound like a broken record but the D line has to get pressure. I think Daniel had two hurries and zero sacks. That is not good. Rattle them early and often. If you sit back in a zone again you will simply lose again and probably lose big. Stack six on the line and see what happens. Can you tell I want you guys to kill Texas Tech?
  22. As I have stated before, Texas Tech is overrated. Get mad Nebraska. If the seniors aren't getting it done then start the freshman. Nobody likes to see a Senior quit but that seems to be what is happening on this team.
  23. Am I allowed to scream like a school girl watching a naked and no doubt hairy man run past me naked?
  24. You can beat Texas Tech. I like everyone's candor on this message board but you are still a little negative. I understand being a long time mizzou fan but you need to focus on TT. I've actually put money where my mouth is and bet on Nebraska.
  25. I'm a mizzou fan and am not at all impressed with texas tech. We killed them 41-10 last year, at home I know but still. If I was Bo I would blitz every down. What is there to lose? Missouri pressured their QB all game long and we don't exactly have a great secondary either. Force the issue! Dropping back seven is a loss no matter what. It almost makes me think of the so called prevent defense in the NFL..which never works. Bring pressure at all times and you might have a chance. And hardly anyone has mentioned that tech's defense sucks.
