As of 4 pm on spring game Saturday Tom Osborne is losing by 20% points to Joe Paterno. TO has 40% and Paterno has 60%. Can't let this stand!

As we ALL know, T.O. has way too much class to ever complain about sharing the National Title with Michigan. It is what it is and there's nothing he or Carr can do about it! But, as we also all know, being on the same level of class and integrity as T.O. is close to impossible and Carr illustrates this perfectly!

Thanks to everyone who replied! It seems almost unanimous that a paid subscription is flushing money down a toilet. Therefore I WILL BE spending my money here with my good friends at Huskerboard! To be honest, I'm very happy about doing so, since I've always enjoyed the colorful characters we have as members, both those who put a brighter outlook on Husker Football and yes, also those who see Husker Football as a darker place right now. Thanks again to everyone and especially Knapplc who has always answered any questions I've had in a timely manner.

I apologize if there is already a thread pertaining to this in here... I didn't find one (that is recent anyway). Besides Huskerboard of course, and it being the best Husker info. site there is on the planet, I am looking to subscribe to a service, publication, or web service/publication but want to join the one with the best information and the resources to get that info. out the quickest? I am looking for anyone's opinion on this, so I can evaluate everyone's input. Every single person's opinion matters a lot and is greatly appreciated! I have heard of HuskerIllustrated of course but is this the best or are there others? Thanks!

I agree with your assessment of this recruiting class and of the coaching staff's change in it's philosophical approach to the recruiting process. Although, there are a couple recruits who don't have great "star" power, for the most part, these late commits seem to be genuinely made up of quality players. I ditto the congrats bestowed upon the coaching staff for this recruiting class!

I really like this guy... he seems to finish off every play well and enjoys piling up the "pancakes". From what I've seen this kid enjoys smashing people with attitude, judging by the little, barely noticeable, extra shove he gives the opposing player on almost every play. We very well might have the best O-line 2014 recruiting class in the country overall. Certainly top 5 from what I hear analyst saying lately!

I wanted to post this topic since it ties into some of the posts I've read from others in here that Nebraska may become or has become irrelevant on the college football national stage? Forbes has ranked Nebraska as the 10th most valuable team in college football with it's findings based on a team's value to it's athletic department, it's university's academic endeavors, it's conference, and it's local economy. Nebraska has $56 million in revenue for 2013 and $35 million of which is profit. And we look to be ranked higher once we begin to get our full share of conference revenue starting in 2017. Ohio State is ranked 9th but of course Texas is ranked 1st followed by Notre Dame at number two. Michigan is ranked 5th with Ohio State at 9th and Nebraska at number ten. I think we are still very relevant as a national brand and will continue to be! Go Big Red!!

Correct me if I am wrong, and I very well could be since I'm taking this info. from an article written, regarding lagging ticket sales by Husker fans, for the Husker bowl game, but I read online there are 3 different ticket prices with the highest being $125 then drops to like $60 and lowest price is $40? I gather from this info. that there are very good seats available then it drops down to okay seats and then finally nose bleed section seating?

Last year, before the bowl game, I tried to join the UGA board in SEC Rant but it was too difficult to join, due to having to post in a certain forum asking to be allowed to join and then getting approved by an administrator seemed impossible? Then I went to a general SEC forum and was treated horribly by some Florida Fan who was totally disrespecting the Huskers by saying we are nobody's now on the national stage and haven't been relevant for decades, blah blah blah. Then this guy follows me into the UGA board somehow where I posted asking to be approved and was "doggin" me in there to all the Georgia fans. Makes me proud to be a Husker Fan since I can honestly say, we ARE the classiest fans in the country! NOTE: I want to be clear that I DID NOT have any trouble with Georgia Fans being disrespectful! So, I give props to all you Dawg fans for being good sports!

I think Stanton has the ability to come in and win the job over TA if he has a grasp of the system? It will come down to who practices the best and shows a better grasp of the system and makes the best decisions like most any other year? I think Stanton is more of a power runner but has some speed as well. He is naturally bigger built than TA I think. Stanton is said to be a Tim Tebow look alike?

I agree whole-heartedly with Knapplc's statement! I think Bo behaves in a timid fashion, not necessarily to be stand-offish per say by design, (although it must be somewhat part of his natural personality) as much as it is a result of how he copes with the over-all pressure of the job, and maybe even more so that he is probably more "sensitive" than he portrays and takes a lot of things said a little too personally maybe? If he could look within, and try to modify, not change who he is, and find a different way to deal with criticism, deserved or not he would do a lot to improve things both ways!

Being happy or not happy with Bo being here another year is absolutely no reason for the streak to end? Supporting these kids who play for the Husker program is what matters and showing that support by filling every seat on game day will always be the one thing Nebraska fans can be most proud of, and anyone who willingly doesn't go to the game, specifically to protest Bo being HC for another year should be ashamed of themselves!

Next year, is Bo's last chance, to prove he has a formula for success that takes the program to the conference title game and preferably win it! Being competitive every game and playing with great discipline all year will be crucial if Bo wants to stay in Lincoln more than 1 more year. These are basic characteristics of good teams who are well coached and there hasn't been these on both sides of the ball at one time under Bo, EVER!? Writings on the wall and Bo definitely knows it! Paps, Els, and even Cotton need to go! Beck could go and I wouldn't be upset either!
