  1. I dont think he thought so either. he kind of stood there waiting for the play to be called dead.
  2. Congrats Beck, you noticed that they have a poor run defense. Good job man, it's only been all over the internet for weeks.
  3. Let's see if the guys can do more than a 3 and out this time around.
  4. WOW. not a person anywhere near him. We're going to get killed.
  5. I got my Burkhead jersey on, let's end the season with a win boys.
  6. I'd guess i'd be considered a part timer according to this site. I was born in Nebraska but never attended UNL. I went to Creighton for my first 3 years of college and still supported NU football, but moving to Vegas for my freshman high school year through senior year only to return to play soccer at Creighton, then transferred to UNLV(almost tranferred to York and was given the chance to do so but decided against it) after I tore my ACL for the first time, I supported both Creighton and UNLV in basketball. I would never ever support any other team in football and would never be caught dead in anything but a UNL football jersey. The only other jersey's I wore were the soccer jersey's for Creighton and UNLV. I would never root against the big red, but I would also not be one to not complain about the short comings i've seen over the last few years with UNL football. I was born a UNL football fan and shall die one. just my 2 cents
  7. Wife ordered me a new NU flag for xmas. She opens it and they sent her a shower curtain instead.

Unless you already have an NU shower curtain I don't see the problem.

Use it for the next spring game

  8. Haven't we as armchair coaches been saying move him to safety for half the season? I know i've seen at least 10 times him being mentioned moved to safety for next year. Maybe some of the guys here do know a little something about coaching the secondary a little bit if the coaches are just now talking about that move.
  9. Too bad we couldn't find another players like Lavonte David who could come in and do what he did. If we had an LB who came in out of high school and had the feel of the game as he did and had him for 4 years, man that would be awesome. Any of the young kids have that feel for the game or possibly could have that type of feel for the game? We need a Dline that can actually put some pressure on the Qb consistently and that would definitely help out the LB corps as well. Currently we have a guy like Eric Martin who can occasionally disrupt the QB a few times a game, but other than that our rush has been on existent for the last few years. We get that to help the players behind them and our defense jumps to a new level darn near immediately. Until we get some rushers who can get some pressure on the QB we'll continue to get man handled by QB's that have some wheels.
  10. Guess we sit and wait to see what he decides. Hard to guess at this point in time and eventually he'll make up his mind on where he wants to spend the next few years of his life.
  11. When he was hired as the Cowboys o-line coach, I almost cried. Watching Romo run for his life every play or watching our "running backs" get stuffed every time has been very painful this year. You and me both. Then when they show him on the sideline doing his lip licking crap like he did here, I want him to just die. He his friggin awful and i really have no clue how he still has a job.
  12. Isn't Richt from Omaha? Just checked Wikipedia on him and he was born in Omaha. very cool.
  13. That is the first brought to mind as I was reading this topic. We should hook bucky up with Huskerjen. He gives her a few beers, Huskerjen gives him her bratwurst.
  14. BAH, dang it, I guess I should have read this post. Guess i'll go delete the one I created tonight before reading this. Good job girl and +1 to you.
  15. I'm sure others would find this a lot easier if we had a simple and easy to see commit list in one area rather than just having to go through the 2013 list and look for them 1 by 1. 16. It sure looked to me that someone had told them to take Martinez out of the game. Right before the suplex on Tm, another guy dove right at his knee after the ball was gone. He went right for the lower leg. That leads me to believe that a coach told his defensive players to exact revenge one TM. Both of those players were complete BS and they were intending on hurting someone.
  17. We used one in clean up time, but lets just say he reminded me of a white Niles Paul. As in he couldn't catch a cold let alone a football.
