  1. What makes them so ugly? They look clean. They look over powered with the white. In soccer you wear white cleats, you just look foolish, and you can count on 1 hand how many players over the years you've seen with white cleats. It's my personal opinion but I believe cleats should not be white for any reason what so ever. At Creighton we had Diadora as a sponser so we had to wear their blue Brazil when we were on TV be it local or national, and I didn't like those either. Call me traditional, give me a normal set of black Adidas cleats and maybe a little color with them and i'm golden. But, this isnt soccer. I played soccer all the way through high school and anymore the more exotic cleats are the in thing. I'm talking purple with green and bight colors everywhere. White cleats are very popular in football. Comparing this to soccer makes no sense. Hence why this is my opinion. I simply do not like white cleats, so I voiced my opinion on the whole thing. I know the cleats you're talking about for soccer, they are made by Rebock and Nike. I still prefer my old samba's to this day and still use my old ragidy pair from my college days. Hell I still have my Adidas Raptors from high school days and they are still in pretty decent shape.

  3. The only thing I see about these cleats are that these are not football cleats but soccer cleats. Football cleats have a front cleat, while soccer cleats have none on the toe. Other than that, I think these are one of the ugliest pairs of cleats i've ever seen, and i've seen some ugly cleats playing soccer for over 2 decades. I think black and red are the best and these cleats might look good as red where the white is and black for the current red parts.
  4. Good pickup. Now we wait until signing day. Welcome to the family Newby.
  5. It's funny that people mention the computers because that kid knows nothing of what he's talking about. With Academic freedom (read bullshite excuse to surf porn or whatever you want) you have to reload these machines every year at the very least. These aren't new computers, they are recycled throughout the school and though the machines may be different, they probably are not new or even the latest and greatest. I worked in the Academic sector as a systems admin and I can promise you that those PC's probably get reloaded every semester as we did due to the garbage put on those machines. As others are saying, you get what you make out of it. Apparently these kids had something to gripe about.
  6. This kid looks pretty good, I just wish he was showing highlights against teams that weren't known for being perennial bottom feeders here in vegas. Looks like the games shown were against Eldorado and Valley High Schools which haven't been good in any sport for many years. Kids looks fast and can shake off blockers though. Lets get him.
  7. I think the late offer to Stanton will hurt us but I guess we'll see. Looking to me from the way they held out on Stanton is that QB is not a very high priority for this years class.
  8. I saw the commercial about it last night while re-watching the 2010 Missouri v NU game and thought, LD deserves that award. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
  9. If we lose this kid to the purple pansies, i'm giving Pelini's group an F in recruiting this year.
  10. I like this kid and his ethics. http://huskerextra.com/sports/huskers/football/article_7f3b0151-e5e6-5c00-a6a7-46c126a95aae.html
  11. I've got 3 characters over lvl 40 but been kind of just playing along. My barb and my Monk are the characters I like the most but I do enjoy the wizard occasionally. I don't really care for the witch doctor and haven't done anything with the demon hunter yet.
  12. Seisay hasn't set foot on the field yet, but I believe everything i've heard about the kid. He's going to be a bad bad man.
  13. Kid has some wheels. Looks to be awfully short to be a WR, but who knows. That QB seems to have a great touch on the ball as well, maybe we should be looking at him too.
  14. Going with The Dude here. You learn early about what you have and possibly what to expect during the season. The first few games are made to work things out but that 1 non-con team that we play a year should be decent enough to give us a test. I don't think it helps these kids to play pushovers as it seems these kids always get their heads full of they can run over these lesser teams and they don't have to work for conference play. This all leads to a failure or as I call it, the Bo Blow Out, or the one game we should easily win and come out looking like complete dumbarses.
  15. Can't say we didn't see it coming. Oh well, on to the next prospect and push hard for him.
  16. Wow. There is really no doubt he was an exceptional athlete. Especially his ability to catch the football out of the backfield. I really thought he still would have a chance at having a decent NFL run. Sorry I edited my post with the correct information. I think he shot himself in the foot playing the extra season and getting hurt. He was never the same after that in my opinion.
  17. Last I heard he is playing indoor football but he was never picked up by any NFL team after he was signed by the Bengals in 2009. After that he was signed by Washington's indoor team and then in 2011 he signed with omaha. According to Wikipedia, he's currently playing for the Omaha Nighthawks Indoor team. Professional career Cincinnati Bengals Lucky was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He was waived on August 22. New York Sentinels Lucky was signed by the New York Sentinels of the United Football League on November 7, 2009. He tried out for the New York Jets shortly after the 2010 NFL Draft. Omaha Nighthawks Lucky was signed by the Omaha Nighthawks on July 15, 2011.
  18. In the end Joe will make his choice and if we get him great, if not, so be it. These kids now a days have a lot of pressure on them and they change their minds all the time. I'd love to have this kid on the team, but until he signs on the dotted line I see him changing his mind at least 3 or 4 more times before February.
  19. It's easier to do as I do. I hate everyone and everyone equally. I tend to tolerate some better than others (read my wife because I HAVE to state this or i'm not getting any), but everyone is treated the same. It's definitely easier when everyone knows I hate them then i don't have to say anything and can't offend anyone.
  20. He's just a confused teen and the attention is getting the best of him. He'll prolly change his decision many more times before signing day.
  21. Going with Knap on this one. I just can't buy into the preseason talk anymore as i've been let down too often. Stop talking and start doing. I love Bo's enthusiasm and talk, and i want to believe, but until it's proven it's just more talk.
  22. Everything get taken care of T_O? Had to do it here because apparently it wont let me PM ya.
  23. Thats amusing considering that the article on ESPN makes no mention that they leave Texas off the map as well. Absolutely brilliant.
  24. Get malwarebytes, install it and make sure it updates. Reboot your machine to safe mode and run a full scan. Remove all infections and reboot into normal mode. Any problems solved. Message me if you need any help T_O
