I'd love for Memorial to even come close to the capacity any of what the bigger boys have in their stadiums. They have expanded it a few times, but it's just never enough.

I realized earlier that I am so much closer to almost every Big Ten stadium, just by living in PA and I got giddy at the possibility of being able to fairly easily go to most road games. So, I decided to check on attendance in the Big Ten, to see how full the stadiums get with respect to their actual capacity and how easy it might be to get tickets to each. I was really shocked to see in terms of overall attendance last year, Michigan was tops, averaging almost 109K per game! Penn State was #2, and tOSU was #3. Come on, PSU/tOSU, you can do better! (Nebraska was #10) God, I can't wait - is it 2011 yet?!

Can I hit the +1 button like a million times? I mentioned here before that this would be a really a much bigger shock to make the move if it was from the Big 8 to the Big Ten. Now not so much. We lost the only rival "WE" ever really knew in our lifetimes, and for the rest of the opponents who think we're turning our backs on the history and tradition - so you're saying you LIKED getting waxed by NU a good majority of the time? meh, not a big loss when you look at the combined records over the years. Isn't this supposed to be the time of the year when we discuss how we're going to take on the world because all of our replacement players are surely better than the ones that graduated? Isn't this also the time of year where we all predict our team will win the North and win it all because OTHER teams who think their replacement players are better than the previous ones are all completely delusional? (We each secretly know our players are better) Damn you expansion talk - this time of the year is supposed to be about fantasizing and speculating the pecking order! The world has gone mad!

Awesome! No one and nothing is sacred when it comes to LSUFreek. There have been a few of Pelini that don't turn out so well either. He just calls it as he sees it!

and they think "we're" whiners. Not to say that ND are a bunch of whiners at all - just saying they will not put up with the shenanigans any more than "we" did.

Funny part is - they know already, including what the cost of a soul is, and still can't sign the papers to sell it fast enough.
