I just think they know it works and it’s because most of the GOP base are the “true believers”. Our govt is representative of the citizens. Politicians only suck because the people in our communities do. There is a large amount of hatred and stupidity in our nation.

Do you honestly believe the authors of these articles actually spend more than about 5-10 minutes looking into the results (tangible and intangible)? My guess is they looked at record improvement and who they beat. And that's about it. But could be wrong, I don't bother reading things like this because it's usually not what a person who follows a team would agree with.

It makes sense if you aren’t looking at things from a Husker fans perspective. Ruhle didn’t improve the number of wins. Deion did. And Deion did it at Colorado, a really bad team the last few years.

I don't want to tell people how to spend their money. But if I "donate" to a cause, it sure as hell isn't going to be to an NIL foundation. It really is crazy to me the amount of money that some people give to freaking sports at this level. But hey! I'm glad they are because I'm not going to!

When we were getting ready for a lockdown drill I was going over the protocol for my room to let them know where we go and how we handle ourselves. Of course kids have a million “what ifs” and the kids started talking about how my room/shop is a great place to be since we had “weapons” (tools). I actually had a serious conversation with 13 year old that if you stab a gunman with a screwdriver, go for the throat. I wish I was kidding. And no one in the room thought it was weird, and coworkers didn’t bat an eye when I said I just had the saddest talk. Education in America…
