Adam Taylor is a better back than the ones you listed when they were his age. He's the best back we've signed since Ahman Green. I think he looks like a stud. But if you say he will split carries from our all B1G RB, I find that hard to believe. Splitting meaning he will get the same amount of carries as Abdullah. I hope he does come in and tear it up, but the way we run our offense with tempo and how we like to stay with the hot hand, I dont see Abdullah coming off the field a lot. Ameer is a stud and has outworked a 5 star back and Heard was a top 100 kid. Again, I think you are right that Taylor is a great RB and he has a great combination of size and speed. But i would bet that if you take the carries total from the mid-season to end Ameer will have a more carries (barring injury)

Filling up early like Michigan is not always a great thing. Look at Texas. They have slowed their recruiting down a little to evaluate kids a little longer. We have to be very diligent in our recruiting and try to find the best talent. Not who rivals tells us who is the best bc some kid went to a camp and played catch on air.

He would be a success in college I would put money on it. I don't think bauserman could run a 4.4 forty at 6"5. If he couldn't play qb he could be a heck of a wr. I doubt he makes it here but our staff didn't map out every second of this kids life for his 4 years of college if he wasn't a seriuos talent on the gridiron.

Bubba wants to be a husker he would be gladly accepted. He has amazing arm talent and with a little mechanic work could be a great passer. Would be a great fit for our offense. I don't think Taylor waited for his junior year to get help. He has worked his tail off since he came here to become a complete package. He waited for his junior year to get healthy. He went above and beyond the call the summer before his junior year to get help beyond our coaching staff. Not many qbs go on their own vacation and their own dime to get better. It's also hard to train mechanics and create positive muscle memory when you can barely walk.

Does not show that they have. You think that would change things? Crystal ball prediction shows him as Nebraska. That doesn't mean too much but it is nice to know he is leaning our way. This kid is very high on the coaches priority list.

St Thomas Aquinas is a powerhouse, that school kicks out atleast three D1 prospects every single year. Three a year? They had 11 in 09, 8 in 2011, and 9 in 2012. That is just a few of the classes I could find numbers on. I would say they put out more than 3 a year and the guys they put out are usually big time recruits.

Coach says he thinks we are in the lead. But will get interesting with Ohio state and Oregon getting ready to offer. I think us having an inside track.with distance and having a set plan for ballball And football could give is an edge.

Good. If he goes to more camps, he can get a much higher rating. So when he signs with us he is a 4 star safety

Most complaining I heard was how he left a cancerous team behind. Sure their was some bitterness but it was not a full blown meltdown like I would think would happen with a.2 time champ walking out on his team.

No doubt about his winning seasons but he also sandwiched in 3, 4 and 5 loss seasons between those natty champs. They has reports by ex players talking about the unfair treatment of players and how the program was ran. One of his coaches was attacked by a player at practice. Usually when their is this much smoke around a person their tends to be fire. Mix that in with jumping schools every few years and ruffling a lot of feathers his first year in the big ten and I would say u could at least question his integrity.

They told the rb last year from Missouri he would be the only rb in the class and then they pull the Oregon decommitt and made him rethink his commitment. He left Florida in shambles when he left. Muschamp is just now cleaning up his personnel mess. I have a few buds in Florida who are gator fans and they were not too disappointed to see him.leave.

Urban will do anything it takes to a get a kid on campus. Fair or not he does not lose many recruiting battles. He might sell a kid a bunch of lies but they usually sign the dotted line. Our staff makes no promises and tells the kids exactly how it will be once they arrive on campus. Hope we can win this recruiting battle. It would be huge to help us finish of this recruiting cycle. It will also do wonders in helping is recruit Florida.

I don't think Gerry has run a 10.41 fat time. His 10.28 was handheld which would be around a 10.6 fat time.

Doubt Gerry can match a 10.41. But Gerry is a football player who runs track. Cotton is a track guy who plays football. Their is a huge difference.

A defense stretching t end isn't as big a need as a hybrid block and catch guy. It killed me watching Reed block. With our offense our te needs to block first to get our run game going. Then u run the play action pass and dump it off over the LBs. We have some pretty decent wrs to stretch defenses. We need our te to be involved in run game and play action pass.

Stars don't matter to the coaching staff. They recruit high character guys that fit their system. Either their is something they don't like about goolsby, or they like these other tight ends better. They have made it clear they want the best possible players at each position and are not going to offer a kid just bc they live close.
