  2. I think all will be fine...but it does really sucks that we have had so many crippling injuries. Here's hoping that all of them fully recover...as knees, backs, and legs can be career-enders. Go Big Training Staff!

  5. I for one think that this entire year will be filled with games and opponents such as Missouri. Outside of the non-cons every conference opponent has something to say to us about their last chance at nebraska. @ Kansas St. - the XII opener for us, and could put KSU in an early position to win the North Texas - ummm yeah...will be a ton of fun @ Okie St - have had our number as of recently, and ol Boone has documented bad blood about the Husker move Missouri - WILL decide the North, Gabbert and Mizzou have lofty goals, and to achieve those goals they have to go through Lincoln @ Iowa St - has been the red-headed step child that has punched us in the face routinely when we were not giving enough respect, would love, LOVE, to do it again! Kansas - has not won in Lincoln in a buzzillion years and would love nothing more than to end that streak before it becomes permanent @ Ta&m - I think Texas A&M has a good understanding of Nebraska, if they could leave...they would. They could potentially be in a position to win the south if they get through this game. Colorado - this is the last time these two "rivals" get to play each other before going their separate ways, that said I think this game will be a downer as CU will be searching for a new head coach to user in their move to the PAC-12!

  7. It is a press release from TTU promoting their new additions to their stadium. Supposedly, it is from the architecture firm. All that said...still don't get the lone Jayhawk.
  8. I love this pic, the thing that gets me is the random Kansas player on the two yard line near the Nebraska endzone. I love photoshop! My link
  9. I believe that Bush's USC & Young's Texas are going to be #1 & #2. This shall be so because the dao of ESPN has spoken it to be so. Yea is the mighty word of Corso, Herbstreit, & Fowler. Glory be to the Buckeye, the Buffalo, and the Seminole....Peace Be With You All..... :espnsucks: :espnsucks: :espnsucks: :espnsucks: :espnsucks: :espnsucks: :espnsucks: :espnsucks: :espnsucks: :espnsucks: :espnsucks: :espnsucks:
  10. Can not wait, can not wait.....what is the most agonizing part of this is that the band is beginning to do their try-outs and practices. So all over campus you hear drumlines prepping for the season. Outside of that first tone on the tunnel walk for the first game and the first crunch of pads on the opening kickoff, I mean come one, is there really anything better than hearing the band on a Husker football Saturday....
  11. :koolaid2: :koolaid2: In the words of Stewie..."Yeah..It's fun to pretend....Yeah....." But pass that kool-aid, this is the time that you are allowed to dream what appears to be a nearly impossible dream. :koolaid2: :koolaid2:
  12. That was exactly what I was hoping someone would say! Thanks FRO....we now 28 year olds need to stick together....
  13. Okay all...I feel that I am getting to that age when I need to stop getting so excited about these things...but I cannot help myself. At what age is it inappropriate to wait in line for a video game?
  14. I also really enjoyed one of the initial EA Sports college football games..1999 I believe. Not only was Nebraska's option attack awesome, but they had the ability to convert the regular season bowl season into a playoff. Yet another example of a technology that EA was able to incorporate into old PS2 games, but is impossible on next gen consoles....
  15. I am so looking forward to this game! Can't wait to utilize that formation sub to get some Martinez-Wildcat action, some Green-option running, and Lee-spread passing.
  16. I have completely enjoyed playing as Clemson and racking up the score as much as humanly possible on Mizzery. From what I can see I am very glad that they have gotten rid of that lackluster sportsmanship engine that would penalize you for short passes on 3 & 10 when you are up by 14.
  17. Not sure how many will know these references...but the classics have to include. Intellivision Baseball - the first sports game to include audible speech (YEER OUT!) and 4th & Inches on the Commodore 64.
  18. Meh....I could really care less about `ol T-Boone. Face friends, we are gonna have to take that "I am rubber and you are glue" mentality with the garbage the other Big XII fans are going to throw our way. Not only will be give them all one more good thumping, we will show them how to be classy fans on the way out as well.
  19. Texas is premier network for football. The entire state from college down through pee wee embraces it. Regardless of the losses, I'm sure some television schmucks are willing to shell out $ just to capitalize on the state rather than the programs. yep...quite unfortunate we still have to see them real it in, but then again that might allow us to get off the hook scott free In Soviet Big XII...Texas football rule you.
  20. So I have this fantasy....Nebraska is rolling the poor Longhorns here in Lincoln somewhere along the lines of 45-10...and just as time is about to expire Bo calls a timeout...with one second remaining. The crowd erupts and the Blackshirt d-line sacks Texas to end the game.
  21. With you speedily approaching date with the Big 10, I am so very happy that I was able to see the last NU-OU game. The OU fans that I encountered were wonderful and I will always remember sharing a drink and remembering games that built the tradition, while toasting what we all hoped would be another great game for both teams in the iconic series. I will always cherish standing in south stadium in 2001 getting a small taste of what my parents always told me about "the great NU-OU rivalry;" but I cannot begin to put into words how happy I am that I got to see NU top OU in a great defensive battle last fall while standing next to my Dad. So thank you OU and all of your fans, because even though I grew up in the age of the Big 12 (I was 13 in `95), the NU-OU series has given me a lifetime of memories!
