      Greater LA has a population of nearly 19 million people. It would take less than 1% of the population to fill the stadium each week. I know there are a lot of transplants, but there are also people who will want a local team to root for.

      True enough. And there were a core of fans who attended both the Raiders and the Rams games. So there will probly be enough fans to support one team. I'm just saying why, despite its size, LA doesn't have a huge fan base for a home team.

      Raiders & Rams left because of crappy stadiums/lack of luxury boxes. It's been 20 years since LA last had a team. That's a generation of LA sports fans who will want to support a NFL team (or 2).
