  1. Green? Martinez? What about Ron Kellogg? The guy looked GREAT! Kellogg really made the most of the few plays he ran the offense. FEAR THE KELLOGG!!
  2. Pants? I always notice the little helmet variations. Seems like we have a coule or three different basic helmet shapes. Some with funny shaped earholes.
  3. Yeah. Server traffic jam. Probably about 500,000 fans trying to simultaneously download it.
  4. Can't wait for Detriot to be on MNF. We'll have a couple of intro announcements: "Kyle Vanden Bosch, Univerity of Nebraska." Hopefully the Lions will get on MNF before Vanden Bosch retires.
  5. Good idea. Btw, you can post suggestions here.
  6. I've seen that vid about 30 times. I am still in awe.
  7. I appreciate getting props from Craig James. But not as much as I appreciate Craig James getting rid of Mike Leach. But my appreciation doesn’t affect my opinion of him. I still think Craig James is an asshat.
  8. Wow! Just when you think Suh has done as much as humanly possible, he takes it to another level. Just like he did on the field. Even more impressive than flinging Colt McCoy like a frisbee. I applaud you Ndamukong Suh!!
  9. *bump* Gameday is finally here!! GBR!!!
  10. Still, most recruits ever to an NU spring game. This bodes well.
  11. I taken a long, cool drink of spring camp Kool-Aid and I agree that the QB spot is looking GREAT right now. I hope this continues right on through the preseason warm-up games into our Big 12 schedule.
  12. So we got McNeill playing "the adjustor" and Hagg/Cassidy playing hybrid. This IS football we're talking about, right?
  13. Is that from the same company as P90X? Mixes cardio, weights, nutrition, right? Looks like it’d work. If you can stick with it.
  14. "just would used"? "I'll be he would"? WTF? Was I drunk when I typed that? I guess 30 hours before kickoff is just too early to start tailgating.
  15. This is what would happen to Jim Rome if called Suh “Chrissy” on his show.
  16. I heard he is now leaning toward Stanford. I heard that too, he is now a soft verbal and he is considering stanford, harvard, yale, brown, duke, and Penn. Stanford? Ha ha! Yeah, maybe try Stamford. Yale? Perhaps the same Yale that Yohnny Yohnson "attends". For 3 to 5 years.
  17. Fisher, Will Compton, Eric Martin and Alonzo Whaley. Who can say what the two-deep looks like in four months? The LB spots seem wide open for competition among these guys. And maybe others.
  18. Ha ha! That's one penalty I'm gonna miss. Suh more than made up for his few penalties by the yardage we saved from QBs starting their slide a few yards early when saw Suh closing in.
  19. The red/white teams look fairly evenly matched. Not sure who I'm picking to win. Why is Mike Smith out? Ricky Henry?
  20. You know, if we just would used the nickname Bill "King" Callahan I'll be he would have had a lot more wins.

However though, Mu has had a 1st of 2nd team player in their recieving corps 6 of GP's 9 seasons. 7 of 9 with atleast a HM on all B12. And the 2 seasons were MU didnt have a recieving corps member honored, their leading pass catchers those years still received NFL tryouts or spent time on NFL teams. That is a pretty good 9 season run, and not short sighted for someone to believe that MU 'could' again have a nice recieving corps. Ironic that Mizzou has all these great receivers, yet the most famous catch at Faurot Field was made by a freshman from Nebraska. The Flea kicker catch. Ha! Kinda like Nu's great history of RB's but for many Husker fans I know, the most famous run at Memorial Staduim was MU's James Wilder tossing the NE defense aside and bulling his was into the endzone to ruin T.O.'s 1978 season Yeah I remember that game. That was actually NU's 2nd defeat that year, so technically that game didn't really ruin their season. They still ended up in the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma whom they played twice that year (regular season and bowl season). NU's first loss was against Alabama in the season opener. I’ve heard Wilder was a heck of a good RB. For Mizzou. And Wilder's little 5 yard TD run in that 1978 Mizzou-NU game was impressive. Probably not as impressive as Rick Berns’ first carry in the game. An 82 yard TD run. Back to receivers, that 1978 Mizzou-NU game featured a couple of pretty good TEs—-Kellen Winslow and Junior Miller. Not many games have had that much talent at the TE position.
