  1. Wait until the game starts. The people selling tickets become very reasonable about price.
  2. Our front four looks to be solid. A strength of the team. But for sacks, good coverage has as much to do with sacks as the front four. And our CBs are as good as any we’ve had in several years. We’re gonna rack up a lot of sacks this season. Oh yeah! Pour me a glass of red Kool-Aid.
  3. Arrrrgh. It’s the pirates curse, matey. Only way to lift the curse is to return all the illgotten gold to the pirate captain. Which is what the TT regents will soon be doing.
  4. Absolutely!! I gotta feeling Ankrah is going to be our next great rush end. And we’ve had quite a few great ones over the years.
  5. We haven't really seen Yoshi play besides Junior College film instead of Big 12 play and non conference games, so right now I'm not saying that he's the best we've got. I'm not going to bite into all of this hype until we actually see the product on the field come September 4th. Its great to hear how these players are developing and turning heads and selling newspapers. A lot of us bought into the hype of Zac Lee and Cody Green last offseason and some even predicted that Cody Green would be our starter for the conference opener against Mizzou. So much talk on how faster Zac Lee was and a better passer compared to Ganz but yet he struggled all year and then the talk of Cody and how he was gaining on Zac Lee during practice and giving Lee a run for his money. We still haven't seen Jeremiah Sirles (coming off a knee injury) and Brent Qvale both were highly talked about during the 09 recruiting. I think that Ricky Henry is one of the best we have and I was really impressed with Caputo last year when he came in to relieve Hickman. Yeah, I'm still skeptical too. But I hope Yoshi turns out to be everything people are saying he is. Guess we will find out a bit more at the spring game. Hope he is matched up with some of our 1s to give us a good show.
  6. Green, baby, Green. The biggest thing he lacked last year was composure. The snaps he takes in spring ball will help with that. As the game slows down for him he will become more accurate, make better reads and better decisions, and develop composure.
  7. Oh yeah. All great. And don’t forget Clinton Childs. He was a great RB but got buried on NUs ‘95 depth chart. Would have been starter for most of the teams in the top 20. Most other teams, that is.
  8. Sure enough. One of our RBs is banged up. You looking at the second from last April 2nd pic? That might not be Dontrayevous. Might that be Austin Jones? Linky Ya I'm looking at the second from the last in the April 2nd spring pictures. Ya it could be Austin or Robinson the only thing I know is that I don't think its too serious of an injury if he's still practicing. I just haven't heard of anybody else having a bum hand in our RB spot. The only injuries that I know of is Yoshi, Zac Lee, Matt May, and Justin Blatchford. Whatever it is, a cast on a RB is a LOT more serious than one on a lineman. Whether the RB hand is broken or not. Bo sure is tight lipped about injuries and such. I guess that's a good thing.
  9. The movie actually looks kinda good from the trailer. Might be better than the TV show.
  10. A sad, sad accident. Sometimes guys that age think they are indestructible. They're not.
  11. Ha ha! The club almost seems like an advantage for linemen. Both offense and defense. I wouldn't want to get thumped in the chest with one.

  13. Check this out. It took me a while to find him in this pic.
  14. This guy paints himself to blend into the background. Invisible man
  15. True sign of a living legend: Having barbeque grill made in your image.
  16. Great to hear! Since so many Internets people--me included--have concerns about the safety positions.
  17. These are pretty incredible stats. I doubt if there are many DTs in the nation with these kind of numbers. Definitely no one with two years left.
  18. Ha ha! Looks like Hokie dad loves barbequed ribs more than Tommie Frazier. Meanwhile, junior turns his hat backwards and sits on the porch playing dueling banjos. I love Hokie fans.
  19. Ha ha! Two predictions. The kid ends up shooting from a clocktower someday. And/or he buries his parents in the crawlspace under his house.
  20. Mike Stuntz is his nephew? That is awesome! —-one of the greatest passes ever thrown by a Husker. And not even lined up at QB when he threw it.
  21. That LP 80 yd TD run at about 4:10. Wow. WOW!! Runs like this are why I think LP was our most talented running back. Nice vid, 37. Thanky for posting.
  22. Wow. Kris Brown missed his very first extra point attempt?? Ha ha! I never would have guessed it. That didn’t happen too often to Kris, the guy who kicked more extra points than anyone else in NCAA history.
  23. Yeah, I think I’ll wait to see if this “breaking” news is confirmed on April 2.
  24. If we are doing this to conserve resources then we don't need to cut half the population. We could get by with only eliminating a third of the world's population. If the third was selected from the fattest people. I say we kill all the fatties!
  25. This may be partly because we have Henery punting rugby style much of the time. When he was at Burke he could boom the high towering punts for pretty long distances. Maybe the rugby style punts are harder for the punt returner to handle, even though they don’t go far in the air. I agree about getting a younger punter on the field sometimes. Heck, I'd like to see some of the younger kickers too when we get a comfortable lead.
