Also for selfish reasons, would like to see this rematch. Traveled to Lincoln with VT fan, who said he had never been treated better at an away game. Same was true when I went to Blacksburg. Besides that, both games were entertaining and well played. Neither was over 'til the final gun. Would also like to see the result without a Pelini influenced defense. In my opinion, the deciding factor in both losses!

It's legal in some places and the legalization movement is picking up steam. We now have 4 States with legal recreational and almost half with medicinal weed legal. It will be legal nationwide soon enough and then people won't be able to be denied jobs because of weed. You are not wrong in your legalization citing, although, I have often wondered but never seen the effects of legal marijuana use on employment in the states where it is legal. Even though the state declared it legal, employers still can ban it's use. The NFL is one of those employers. Is a temporary feeling worth your livelihood?

Maybe I'm easy but I buy what this guy says. First, I truly believe he believes, secondly I believe he can sell it to the players. The difficult part will be to sell some of the fans this concept. This will be the mark of a great head coach. I think he can do it. Riley will be the Tim Miles of football.

I am endlessly amazed by the useless topics that are debated on this board. Why debate past history? Some other debatable topics: Does the Viet Nam war happen if George Washington doesn't cross the Delaware River? Does Richard Nixon resign if the Watergate Hotel was built in Baltimore? Does Mama Cass die if the room service phone had been out of order? Does it matter?

Happy for him. Obviously some guys just can't coach in college and can in pro and vice versa. Charlie Weis comes to mind. The mentality and attitude differs immensely from college to pro. Coaching players who are assigned to you differs greatly from coaching players you have recruited. Some coaches just can't recruit. Apples to oranges.

He's not calling the plays. He's a glorified position coach. Who cares? He's just as bad as a QB coach as he is a playcaller...why else would Taylor Martinez pay for a private QB coach in the off season? Who said Taylor paid?

Look, I'm not all wet over the prospect of Scott Frost at NU. My original question was: Could he do what he is doing at Oregon at NU in less than ten years? I think he has had an abundance of help achieving his success and those who think he could pack up his scheme and game plans and bring it to NU and be immediately successful are delusional!!!

Can Scott Frost do what he is doing tonight with Oregon at Nebraska in less than ten years?
