I was watching the FSU and Ole Miss game last night and I was thinking how neither Nebraska or Oregon has those kind of athletes relative to the depth of Ole Miss and FSU. FSU, Bama, OSU, Clemson. Those are the teams that look it off the top of my head. The way they play. They look and play like a well oiled machine as a whole. I can understand why Phil Steele picked FSU to win the title this year. I don't think they will win but I think they are in the discussion, before last night, I thought Steele was nuts. It's not that NU can't have those athletes and rewatching the game last night NU is closer than some may think. Part of it is developing the talent into those kinds of players as well. Another note. I felt NU played much faster in every area than they did in any spot last season. Hesitation is gone from what I saw. NU is on the way up. And look what Texas did with a true frosh at QB...the guy looked really good.

Uggg, rough weekend! My locks went 1-2... Nice weekend JJ! My "locks" Lousiville -14.5 vs Cuse Michigan -35.5 vs UCF Nebraska -24 vs Wyoming Mark it down and lock it up!

11am game, probably best to leave Omaha by 7. That will roughly get you to your parking by 8 or 815. It might seem just a little dead at first but it is really cool to see the build up of fans from 8am to 9am to 10am. I wouldn't worry a lot of parking it never seems difficult to find a spot.

Check craigslist first and see if you can find a Lot 7 pass. tons of fun and close to the stadium for the most part. The pass might be like 50-100 dollars though. There are way cheaper ones like at the baseball park, I think those are 20 dollars. You can google it, but I don't remember the name of the link, sorry!

I don't know if many teams will put up more than 14 on Michigan this year.

If they keep it within 40 it will be a job well done.

Ugggg...sorry guys! I just looked past Wyoming, I was checking out the schedule to see what time the Wisconsin game was and well...I wasn't just focused on Wyoming. Probably a loss now.

Not Ready To Go Guy: Sure, everyone knew to arrive at your house by 7:30am but "Not Ready To Go Guy" won't be getting there until 7:45, not a big deal, right...not until he lets you know that he needs to stop to get some cash out/get beer/get ice whatever it might be...So the plan of leaving by 7:30 has now been pushed back an entire hour. Or maybe he is driving but shows up with an empty tank, instead of filling up the night before...he is going to drive us all the the gas station while he fills up and of course lets us know that he will "just run in for a second, gotta grab a coffee" Thanks "Not Ready To Go Guy", thanks a lot.

Not sure what number we are on now but I am adding another new one: 45: Bar ADD Guy: (This is basically me), Get to Sandy's and it is packed and a blast, the Elk Creek is flowing and it is a great time but of course, you are worried that Brothers might just be a touch better, so you gotta make your squad drink up and head over to Brothers, of course, once there you realize that Main St might be more fun...but what about Barry's, and you have to hit up the Rail for old times...Any longer than 30 minutes in a bar and it starts to feel like you are stuck in concrete.

Can we add: Won't go to O Street Guy: "That is for college kids" you will hear him say and now his mind is made up, he will not go near O street. In his mind it is a huge frat party even though all the students are down at the North Bottoms or on the rooftop at Barry's. But it doesn't matter to this guy because he swore once he left Lincoln that he would "Never go back to O street"

I will say it again...when I hit up Lincoln on game day it is college all over again for me. I love O street...the cheap drinks everyone (mostly) in red and partying, all ages are around and having a good time. Do I end up talking to girls way younger than me? Heck yes! There is just something awesome about Lincoln on game day.

No one is "out to get" NU. The disrespect is based on the quality of product they have seen on the field for that last 13 years. Nebraska is getting all the respect that they have earned. Nothing more or less than that. +1 Enough with the conspiracy crap. We've sucked for a while. Even our 9 win seasons we lost most games that mattered. Time to show up on the field, no more September championships for us for a while. Funny. If you guys paid attention more you'd know Teach was being sarcastic. Ha! Thank you! I thought it was clear but I guess not. I don't think anyone is out to get NU. I think lots of Husker fans are more sensitive than a 13 year old girl that just found out the boy she likes actually likes her best friend that is also captain of the volleyball team that that they are both on. At first she tries to play it off like it is "no biggie" but as the week drags on she can't take it anymore and has a full meltdown at volleyball practice and totally embarrasses herself. Of course, that spreads quickly through the world of social media and she fears that there is just "no way she can ever go back to school now" and demands to "transfer schools" because how could she face the boy she likes now??? A few weeks go by and things seem okay, they seem like she has calmed down but it turns out she really has developed an eating disorder and she is throwing up her food into Tupperware containers that she hides in her closet... I could go on but I think you get the idea.
