  1. I have a question… Who is the blazing hot reporter that asks questions after each day at trial…
  2. He could have opened a bar and named it Wide Left
  3. It is weird because sometimes I think that those guys that played for the Huskers are always around the program or Lincoln or Omaha...but I guess just like high school you kind of move on.
  4. NW is a very good team? Negative Collins was very smart with his schedule but they will be lucky to win 6 big ten games
  5. The reason I was high on Nebraska getting 11-12 conference wins is because the schedule sets up so nicely...this three game stretch is a cake walk.
  6. Winning all three is doable, but shouldn't be an expectation with the deficiencies this team has. That being said Rutgers is a bad bad bad team. Losing to them even on the road would be the most disappointing loss of the season. Yeah, Rutgers is just painful...Poor coaching, bad players, no home court advantage...
  7. If they don't go 3-0 in that stretch they need to can miles...those 3 teams are not only filled with horrible talent they all have horrible coaches.
  8. In Pelini's first year, he had embarrassing losses to #4 Missouri and #4 Oklahoma. Riley certainly sniff's those sh#t shows with Purdue and Illinois... Yeah you're right, it's far more impressive he let Iowa State beat Ndamukong Suh in Lincoln by scoring 9 whole points the following year. Wait a second...this isn't fair...Everyone says the Purdue blowout was not really that bad because of all the turnovers...so wouldn't that be the same for ISU? Look...We hired Riley NOT to have crappy losses like Bo Poloser...We hired Riley to fix those problems and to be a smarter coach with smarter game plans. Who is saying turnovers make that loss acceptable? It wasn't acceptable, neither were. Purdue should never beat us by scoring 50 and Iowa State should never beat us by only scoring 9. Purdue became palatable because we actually responded to it and finished the year off stronger than we thought we would by beating a playoff team. Lots of people said it was the turnovers...they said it about Iowa too. I agree though that NU looked much much better as the year went on.
  9. I thought the flags were really cleaned up as the year went on.

  11. I think Landlord asked, why care about wins and losses...I think that is kind of interesting. I know a few people that have started to say "I won't even turn the game on tonight" or "I forget they were even playing" in regards to Husker hoops. I know a few, very very few mind you, that have started to not care as much about missing a Husker football game, I don't mean going to Lincoln, I mean just not watching it, or going hunting or doing something else during that time...I would guess that a few more seasons of lame football will lead to more and more of that...maybe not, but I would think it would I don't want that to happen. I have been to lame places for games, Illinois, Minnesota and so on...it is not even close to the atmosphere in Lincoln and while I do think Husker fans are great fans and loyal...There is usually a limit to that.
  12. Nine wins w/ BLOWOUT losses vs 5-7 w/ close losses. Both are upsetting and embarrassing, just in different ways. As we move forward though, we can hope that this season was rock bottom and now we only have one direction to go? Amen!
  13. This years NU team was similiar to Purdue and Illinios...Teams that I would think the 2014 team would beat.
  14. I guess in the end...if NU is not "in the hunt" to play in the Big Ten Title game the record really doesn't matter all that much
  15. You have no chance in winning a game if it isn't within 10. Why 10...and at what point in the game? NU was just down 14 and won.
  16. Anyone seen these before? They are great gift ideas but I am still pissed that Lincoln has not been made. They said it is the "next one".

  17. Ha...Funny But honestly, the wife should just drop it...even though I would love to go to lunch with her...wink
  18. He is a talent but a headache...He trolled Illini fans for a year before he went to AM...I thought he would end up at ASU
  19. I would hit stubhub or just wait until you get into town...
  20. Trolling? They took a year to buy a house and had to sell it a few months later because of his wife's allergies to paint...So, making a joke about a pointless city is more clever and funny than it is trolling. See? It's been over a year, does his Oregon State record really matter? Not really...
  21. People get caught up on top 150... Basically any player not 1-50 is a bit of a crap shoot as to what you are really going to get, sad but true. It also depends on how you are filling your classes...filling it with undersized players for their respective positions and NOT playing to their strengths is a recipe for disaster.
  22. Do you think that Jason Pierre Paul will be able to count the number of conference wins on one hand?
  23. What is dumber...wanting to fire Miles or anointing him as some amazing coach because of a rather lucky 4 week run? I think anointing him is overstating it a bit. He has had a history of turning around relatively bad programs rather quick and people saw that run as a springboard. I don't see the harm in that. Oh yeah, I know that...but let's face it...lots of fans were anointing him...
