  1. I got to watch the first half, and the announcers didn't have a clue what they were talking about. "Martinez is a halfback". "Rex isn't a north-south runner". "Cassidy is a great player, the glue of this defense, will definately play in the NFL". I'm certain that was the first time they've watched Nebraska play this year and they were making stuff up as they went along. make sure you schedule New Mexico soon then, Bob Davie will be coaching there next year, also, he didn't mean that Martinez was "literally" a halfback, just that he was basically a halfback playing QB, the same thing has been said of Denard for us... They're fast dudes, but other than that nothing about them says "halfback" to me. WR maybe, but halfback? Naaah.
  2. We learned we can make it through a whole season with one injury prone, running QB who lacks toughness.
  3. I thought the line played pretty good this year, for the most part.
  4. I think we can beat any team in the country. ..so long as they don't have a QB who can run it.
  5. I think he'll definately be in the discussion from the get-go next season.
  6. I read an article on ESPN I think saying that Dietrich-Smith wasn't letting go of Suh and was in fact pulling him towards the ground. If Suh was trying to get his balance while getting pulled down, it only looked like he was pushing Dietrich-Smith's head into the ground. Any fan (especially any Badger fan) that comes on here acting as if the Packers were completely innocent in this situation is either completely naive or they're worse homers than any of the Nebraska fans in this thread. The Packers O-Line was baiting Suh all game long - they even said as much after the game. And point, Packers - they got him to commit the foul, and even got him kicked out of the game for taking the bait - but stop with all this high-and-mighty "That's not the way the game is meant to be played" BS. Who came on here saying the Packers were completely innocent? Not I said this fan...and for the record being a UW and a GB fan are not the same thing. I know plenty of people that are one and not the other. Oh one last thing, the Packers may not have been completely innocent but there wasn't a holding penalty was there? The Packers are one of the least penalized teams in the NFL, we play some of the cleanest and most respectable football around. Suh and Detroit? meh not so much. Even if Dietrich was holding Suh explain to me how that is an even halfway reasonable response. It isn't, and his post game comment just proves he has piss poor character. Suspend him. ...and "Only looked like he was pusing Dietrich's head" God, so much in this thread. The biggest in this thread is your excessive use of exaggeration. Suh didn't *actually* punch Culter, he didn't *actually* almost rip Delhomme's head off, ect, ect. If you have to resort to exaggeration to get your point across, what does that say about the point you're trying to make? I'll give you a hint, it says your point sucks.
  7. That shirt is going to be the stuff of legend by the time he's done here.
  8. Am I the only one absolutely in love with the direction the offense is going?
  9. *QUOTED FROM PAGE ONE* I got to watch the first half, and the announcers didn't have a clue what they were talking about. "Martinez is a halfback". "Rex isn't a north-south runner". 10. He quit chewing gum by smoking cigarettes.
  11. No, you're just acting like one because you're a Packers fan. I thought we were cool Dude, now not so much... We're cool. Hearing Packers fans getting butthurt over Ndamukong Suh is just getting extremely tedious. Not butthurt, I'm not crying about it. I don't want an apology, raping the sh#t out of the Lions in their own house and having Suh not be able to do a damn thing about it is good enough for me. However I would like some of you to acknowledge he's dirty but oh well. May not happen. That play today was dirty, no question. Several others he's been flagged for previously were questionable at best...and probably NOT dirty in most of those several. A few others have been pretty bad, indeed (slamming someone's head to the ground) That said - I really don't think he's the dirtiest player in the NFL - and Badgerfan - you've admitted before you become clouded in perspective because of being a fan of Wisconsin. Your comments today are probably a little skewed toward the Pack here I'm guessing....just because you are a fanatic. Undeniably so. Have I maybe-possibly, been a little-tiny-barely-noticeably overzealous with my choice of adjectives in describing the incident?...Perhaps. So first and foremost I'd just like to apologize to the other Packer fans and great HB posters for allowing myself to be put in a position to be misinterpreted....and putting myself in that situation. A lot of people are seeing what they want to see but I know what I said...I said what I said, its just being misinterpreted. My intentions were not to do that, I was just trying to walk away from the posts but you know...it was just the situation...I was being pushed into it. I was just so off balance. Like I said, I know what I did and so does the man upstairs... Check your inbox.

However I would like some of you to acknowledge he's dirty but oh well. May not happen. Why would you want that? It's definately a matter of opinion. What he did today was way over the line. I've acknoledged that, so have many Husker fans here. But the majority of the "dirty" things he's done so far in his career were either wildy blown out of proportion, or flat out bullsh#t. But as a Packers fan I can understand how you see things the way you do. Some of the things you've said about him in this thread is also over the line, methinks. Get out of here with that drivel.

  15. Badgerfan, I think you're going off the deep end here. sh#t like that happens in piles all the time. The offensive lineman from the Packers instigated it. How is that not dirty, but Suh is the scum of the earth? Get a grip.
  16. I guess it depends on what direction the trophy is facing...
  17. I thought the "it" factor was pretty clearly defined in the OP. Not sure how the "it" we're talking about is confusing to anyone. Yeah, it's clearly defined as intangible. Hence the difficulty to quantify it.
  18. I think he's getting frustrated he isn't a man amongst boys anymore. Needs to start keeping his cool. Just a dumbass move.
  19. Hope he stays. We need him way more than LSU does, would understand if he went though. Gotta do what ya' gotta do.
  20. I even said on Saturday "It's a bad sign when Kyler Reed is dropping passes". I said the same thing about Rex last year against Texas. Seems when our sure-handed guys start dropping passes, it just becomes contagious.
  21. But... if somebody wasn't in their seat, doesn't that mean the sellout streak is over?
  22. I half-heartedly watched the game. The refs were pissing me off so I used it as background noise after a while.
  23. Here's an interesting stat: When Rex doesn't get rolling, we suck.
