I dont think that was an insult at all. It is true, the game is played in between the lines, the players shouldn't let the crowd affect how they play the game, aside from communication between QB and the line. Ill be there, screaming for the boys in white and red! GBR

WTF is an HB? Pretty nice list, but you need to add Zac Lee. HB=Half Back 100th post Im very impressed with Lee as is everyone else. Our line is doing a better job protecting the QB. I am also impressed with the growth of out defensive secondary(compared to last year). Crick is growing up fast. Hope the Lbs grow fast too(sept. 19).

But, oh my, that's quite a trek. We're taking a little more leisurely approach, not leaving until Friday mid-morning. If the maps and directions are correct, it's 5.5 hours of travel time.

I will be leaving from Connecticut late thursday night and hope to get into Roanoke around noonish. I am excited to spend time and get to see the area and what is has to offer. And of course the game experience will be amazing as i have heard from countless people who have attended games at Lane stadium. Hope to have a few with fellow hokies and the traveling husker nation as well. GBR

I do agree with you that the huskers need to be more consistant with their running game, but i dont necessarily agree that they need to average 200 yards per game. They need to take what the defense gives them and capitalize every time. That may mean that they do get over 200 on the ground or maybe 400 through the air. Whatever it takes that allows for them to succeed. I would like to see less penalties and dropped balls on offense. On defense, better tackling and fewer blown assingments. We are only 2 games deep in the season, and on year 2 with a new coach and mostly new staff. Still working around the talent that we have.

His talent was that he had Chris Peterson as his offensive coordinator. He is and was the only reason behind Hawkins so-called success at Boise St. I do agree that the play on the feild is similar to what we have seen with the BC teams.
