  1. I wouldn't exactly say that we stole one, his three biggest offers besides ours were Cincinnati, West Virginia and Pitt. I think time will tell if he's a steal or not. I'd have to say Mich St was his best offer that I see above... For a team that coaches great defenses, I'll take that!
  2. I'd put it at about a 6.5... Great weapons and schedule like others have said, turn overs a problem obviously... But my question is... Where are the gloves!?! There was a noticeable drop off of fumbles when he put them on last year... Bring em back Taylor!
  3. I also read that someone or multiple people were talking stuff from their bench... As in coaches... I haven't seen any proof of this, but did notice Eric Martin talking directly to one person frequently...
  4. Actually, correct me if I'm wrong... But I think that was loudmouth griffin that they were congratulating for causing that fumble on martinez... Which is even more comical IMO...
  5. Shows an offer on rivals, am I missing something?
  6. Don't know where you guys get the other stuff to start these threads...but didn't see this guy posted anywhere...Feel free to delete and start a new one like the others. http://sports.omaha.com/2011/12/12/recruiting-huskers-hunting-yet-another-california-cb/
  7. Here is the article... Very cool... http://sports.omaha.com/2011/10/11/recruiting-nu-closing-in-on-devin-fuller/
  8. Looks like Wisconsin is going to be down a start on the defensive line for Saturday... Leading the team with sacks.. http://m.host.madison.com/mobile/article_52f2791e-ebc3-11e0-94df-001cc4c03286.html
  9. He actually already committed... Or am I missing the sarcasm?
  10. The Oklahoma drill was my favorite part of practice... It was a reward for dealing with the other stuff.
  11. Anybody catch the interview? Did it happen?
  12. I think rivalries are based on history and what happens between them during actual played games. For instance, a heartbreaking loss or repeated poor sportsmanship. However, I also think rivalries can be personal, as my name states. I live in Denver, so being out here, I hated CU and their fans. Just because they may not be NU's rival...they were indeed my rival. I think that's why many NU fans think of IA as such. Actually, I may just change my name to IA Sucks...
  13. I personally love the fact that when general college football is the topic, we are in the forefront...speaks to national relevance that has been absent in recent history.
  14. Still amazes me that kids chose to go there over anywhere else where u can study biology with a coed...
  15. This came from a friend who's a loyal MSU fan.... Can Spartans Diggs It? Sean Scherer - 25 hours ago - 30 comments | Add a comment 247Sports four-star safety Jordan Diggs (Cape Coral, FL/ Island Coast) camped at Michigan State in July and the Spartans appear to be in contention for his commitment. But that chase is far from over. The 6-foot-1, 199-pound Diggs holds 30 offers from the likes of Auburn, Nebraska, Tennessee, and South Carolina. "Since my brother played there I'm real comfortable with [MSU's] staff," Diggs said. "I know some of the in's and out's of MSU football from Jeremy." Diggs's older brother, Jeremy Ware, played at Michigan State after transferring from South Carolina. Ware has been a sounding board for all thing Spartans. Diggs has made two trips to East Lansing. Diggs camped at Michigan State on a Monday and made a return trip that following Thursday to take a closer look at what the Spartan could potentially offer him. Spartan Tailgate caught up with Diggs to find out where Michigan State fits into his recruitment. Spartan Tailgate: As of now have you cut your list down at all? Jordan Diggs: No, I haven't. I plan on making cutting down to a top 10 before the start of my first game on August 20th. ST: Do you have any more trips planned before the start of the season? JD: The one trip I'm trying to get worked out is taking an unofficial visit to Nebraska. That's it. ST: Do you plan taking all five of your official visits? JD: Yes. ST: When do you want to make your decision? JD: After I take all five of my official visits, then I'll make my decision. ST: Have you set up official visits with anyone yet? JD: No. Nothing set in stone yet. I'm still trying to narrow my list down and figure everything out. ST: Where does Michigan State sit on your list currently? JD: Michigan State is a great school. They sit on my list very well. ST: What do you like about Michigan State? JD: There's a lot of things I like about Michigan State. One thing that really sticks out is Coach (Mark) Dantonio and Coach (Harlon) Barnett. Another thing is my brother Jeremy (Ware) went there and played MSU football. Seeing that my brother was successful there makes them stand out to me. Since my brother played there I'm real comfortable with their staff. I know some of the in's and out's of MSU football from Jeremy. They could be a good fit for me. ST: What does Jeremy tell you about Michigan State? JD: That it's a great place. He wishes that he would have gone there from day one. He just really wishes he would have committed there and went there from day one. He enjoyed every bit of it. ST: What was reaction when you saw Jeremy make that hit on Colin Sanderman against Iowa? JD: I was like, 'Wow, did Jeremy just do that?' In high school, Jeremy wasn't a big-time hitter, he was more of a heavy coverage guy. It was shocker for me. ST: Walking away from Michigan State what kind of impression did it make on you? JD: They left a great impression. I got chance talk with Coach Barnett. I've know him since I was a freshman, even before my recruiting process even started. ST: When you make you cut down to 10, do you think Michigan State will make the cut? JD: Yes, they'll make it"
  16. New development...guess who's gonna be a husker? http://ncpreps.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1246283
  17. The interesting part about this one, is every person they talk to (except his parents) want him to go to NU...hopefully it's sinking in! http://www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_206158.asp
  18. Guess we made his top 3... http://arizona.sbnation.com/arizona-wildcats/2011/7/31/2307868/andrus-peat-top-3-nebraska-cornhuskers-texas-longhorns-florida-state-fsu-seminoles-recruiting
  19. Nothing big, but he was rated as number one on the sporting news today... Mentions NU in the video... http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football/feed/2011-07/top-125-recruits/story/recruiting-countdown-reaches-no-1-player
  20. Someone has to ask right? Is the new baseball coach going to help or hurt with the bubba deal or does it depend on who is hired? My opinion, I think this could really help if we get the right guy...
  21. Rim shot on that...but great news all the same.
  22. Interesting...I saw in the Williams thread that he also rated 15 out of ten? So was it Williams or Mitchell or both that said that? Also, you would think with his style, he would love to be in Reed's spot...also mentioned that it's a similar offense to what they ran in HS so the transition would be easier...
  23. I guess my problem with this is that this is a normal game... I fully understand receiving a trophy or ring for doing something special, ie winning a league championship, but what's stopping any team for saying "well since you beat Penn St, you get a diamond earing and since you beat Indiana, you get gold fronts, ect..."?
