  1. Unless Tebow goes down for the long haul-no one else has any shot at the Heisman. We might as well just move on, prepare for TTech & hope this flu crap is history by then.
  2. I want to say that it was in the 2nd quarter, but am not certain. Didn't the ESPN crew even say something along the lines of "He's lucky that he's still in the game" (probably knowing that it should have been an immediate ejection). I'm sure it will come up in the Big 12/refs weekly meeting. There's just no excuse for a dumbass move like that. That one move could have been "game over" for Missou right there-especially if it was as early as I think it was. What an idiot
  3. My favorite quote from the SLtoday whiners: "Is it too late to let Gabbert go to Nebraska?" And people think WE are tough on players/coaches?
  4. They are good-really good. The main question that I have is how the secondary will do against a really strong passing team. They got burned once last night by what looked like little more than a lob down the middle of the field, but between the rain & Suh, that was the extent of the deep game that they saw. Suh dropped one blocked pass that was probably a pick in any other weather. Two ints & a forced fumble would have been an awesome stat to have under his belt. There were several other int chances for our D, but the weather obviously made it pretty tough for anyone to catch anything. We have a few things to worry about after last night, but I can't see our D being one of them.
  5. LOL.....between Matt Holliday gift wrapping the MLB game yesterday, and having three quarters of "This game is over!!!" stuck up their rear ends, it's pretty safe to say that today is a day of mourning down south.
  6. I found it at http://www.tigerboard.com/boards/missouri-...message=6957664 (Same problem here-I blew it up & it was really "fuzzy")
  7. As painful as the VT ending was for us, I think this had to have been worse for Misery. It's probably a good thing I got the boot at Tiggerboard.com As badly as they quit in the 4th, it will be interesting to see how much of a tailspin they go into.
  8. Suh may seriously be the best player in the country this year. He's going to be a beast in the NFL.
  9. Let's be realistic here. Going into the 4th quarter, what Mizzou fan wouldn't be confident? All indications were that the game was history(and that this place was going to have to be put on suicide watch). I can only imagine the about of sh!t talking that went on at the game through the first 3 Qs. Did anyone else notice how fast that stadium emptied out during the 4th Q?
  10. All I saw were flags...seemingly on every other f'ing play.
  11. I don't know what they had up their sleeves, but by the end of the 3rd Q, I wanted to take a baseball bat to that f'ing smirk on Lee's face. He can thank the D for winning the game for them.
  12. 99% sure it was just jersey Depending on the refs view, he may or may not have been able to tell that (then again, nothing stopped them from throwing every other flag, so why start then)
  13. Tough to say...wet ball, wet hands, wet everything-let alone not being able to plant on his back foot. Actually, in the 2nd half he looked like Lee in the 2nd H of the VT game. Deja Vu
  14. I thought we got some calls & I thought they got some. In the end, I hate to watch a game with that many flags-but I'm not sure that both teams weren't trying to get away with everything possible to pull off the W. Suh was obviously causing their O-line some serious problems (and he should have had 2 int's...that 1st one was RIGHT IN HIS HANDS!!!!)
  15. #1 Is it high def tv, or was it really raining that hard the entire game #2 Were there as many flags on both sides as I think there were? #3 What's with these coaches leaving hurt players in? Knowing what we found out about Lee's injury after the VT game, I think we could have won it if Green was given a shot-and I also think Mizzou would have had a shot at holding on if they took out an obviously gimpy Gabbert. That 4th Q had to have sucked-Neb looked like total sh#t up until then. I was ready to puke at the half. Good luck the rest of the year-you have a lot more class than the masses at TiggerBoard.
  16. Yawn..... If the game was really postponed, don't you think that it would be plastered all over every Omaha news web site? Think people, think.
  17. It's also supposed to get breezy(20ish mph?), so there's another potential issue for their passing game.
  18. LOL....spoken like a true Missouri fan who thinks that they actually matter in the big picture of things. Just like the Cubs, they know how to make a little bit of noise, but when it comes down to it-Naw, they are just another also ran.
  19. As much as people around here whine every time that the "b word" is mentioned, I find this absolutely comical.
  20. It's not a grass field, so it won't be muddy. As far as being wet....you tell me
  21. It was the same in the late 80s. If you have Nebraska license plates, consider yourself lucky to get out of town with all of your tires...and yes, I know people who have had their tires slashed down there. They have some decent fans, but also a rather large contingent that deserves to be shot in the back of the head.
  22. See, that's just pathetic-I swear to God that these scumbags are worse than CU fans-a lot worse actually.
  23. Illinois is horrible and Zooks seat is so hot, he can't even sit down. This week, he finally benched Juice Williams in a last ditch effort to save his job.
