  1. Corey Raymond visited him at home this week. It went well and it appears that Nebraska has more of a chance to keep him committed than I had originally thought. He said he was really comfortable when he made his decision when he committed to Nebraska, after Raymond came to visit it made that feeling even more concrete. Les Miles will be visiting him on Thursday.
  2. ASU is out of his top schools. He seems to have been turned upside down now that their coach is out. Brown visited him in home this week and it appears the Huskers are making a big push for him. He said he doesn't have a list of top schools now, but he will release it in a few days once he gets everything figured out. Can you image getting Foster and Fuller in the same class? Ho-Ly-Crap
  3. How he is still a 3 star on Rivals is a mystery to me.
  4. I have almost no faith that he will end up here.
  5. We have Westerkamp... that's all we need in this class. He is planning his visit to Nebraska, and we are apparently still pursuing him
  6. I think we have a high probability of snagging Peat, Fuller, VV, Moss, Rios and Iese. I think we miss out on Diggs, Seisay and Lambert. Not sure about Lawler, It would make sense for us to move to his top school now that ASU is no longer an option. Also, Anthony Alford wouldn't surprise me.
  7. We are back on top for VV's services. The meeting with JP went REALLY well.
  8. After reading about his visit I would be surprised that we pull him out of South Carolina.
  9. Some "insiders" are saying he will be N
  10. Tommy has said time and time again than Brion should be getting more snaps when the game is locked up, but by no means should be talked about for a starting role, especially without seeing him ever play.
  11. 1. It was definitely cool, although I don't understand why it caused everyone to go crazy in love over Ron Brown all of the sudden. 2. It won't 3. That would be cool.
  12. Obviously I would much rather get a shot at the B1G championship, but it might work out in our favor to bypass playing Wiscy in the championship and sneak in for an at large bid. I think Wiscy matches up way to well against us for us to have a shot at beating them this year. Like I said, not what I would prefer, but things could still work out for us. As long as we win out.
  13. If 1.5 people in the media half-bashing Nebraska on TWITTER = the media turning on Nebraska then I quit life.
  14. Play Beemer ball. Play the field position game, minimize turnovers and penalties, take field goals if we have a chance.
  15. IMO the less we draw attention to all this the better. Just get in, get a win and get out. By drawing attention to it on our end it just is asking for fans to act out against us.
  16. I think the entire department will get wiped clean. And depending on how deep the cover up goes (paying off the police/DA's office) the entire school will be in deep deep sh#t.
  17. I agree, it's called the bystander effect. People naturally don't want to be the whistle blower, there have been a ton of social studies on this. That being said, its still not a reason to take any blame away from the people that knew. (Not saying you are advocating that)
  18. The board trustees are asking Mike Mcqueary to NOT coach on Saturday.

    1. C N Red

      C N Red

I cant believe the NU trustees would even try to get involved let alone put out something like this;)

  19. ESPN just reported that he is asked by the board of trustees to not be on the field for the game this weekend.
  20. If the DA is dead, then I don't think there is any way that it would be due to this scandal. My theory is that Penn State paid off the police department/DA, and after they dropped the charges, he fled the country. Here is the official statement from the police chief after the investigation of his disappearance. ""We LITERALLY used every single resource, national and international," Bellefonte, Pa., police chief Shawn Weaver told ABC News today. "This is baffling. He LITERALLY just disappeared off the face of the earth." Is it possible that they didn't do much investigating because they knew that he fled the country with Penn State funding the whole thing? It gets deep, and is definitely a stretch, but for him to drop the charges with an admission of guilt from Sandusky, Penn State had to be paying him off in some sense. The details on all of this will be very interesting.
  21. At this point nothing would surprise me. We could lose by 35, win by 35, or go into triple overtime. I will say this. Playing strong mentally hasn't been in our deck of cards all year.
