  1. Pelini 67-27 Callahan 27-22 Riley 19-19 Frost 14-23 Please explain why we shouldn't be panicking now.
  2. That's why I'm asking the question that got my hand slapped by a poster that refuses to answer the simple question. I don't want to hear the emotional stuff or the 'can't keep resetting' stuff. What has the man done? Someone please answer that. ND?????
  3. Waiting..............Waiting.....................Waiting............................ Also running up my post count.
  4. ND, just explain to me what the justification for retaining him is. Don't just say "I don't want another reset, blah, blah". Why should Frost get more time with the record he has?
  5. Hey, I'm up to 60 now. I'm sure I've reached the 'have an opinion' level at this point!!
  6. But...but...that is what a message board is for. To give our opinions. Of course no one in charge cares what we say, but we as fans care. I am tired of watching the product on the field especially when the head coach is earning 5 million a year. I'm confident that many people on this board could equal Frost's win total up to this point.
  7. I didn't know number of posts had anything to do with what I can/can't have an opinion about.
  8. Not advocating for firing. Just asking what is the justification for retention?
  9. Just checking coaches who were fired/resigned in 2020. There were a few with worse records than Frost, but no many. Also, most of the programs don't have the advantages that Nebraska has. What is the justification for retaining him?
  10. How can there still be Martinez apologists? I don't know what they are seeing.
  11. Line was fine, He just held the ball way too long again.
  12. No, we're not. He is just not a winner. It continues to happen.
  13. Don't know why it's so hard for some people to see/admit the truth. No one is saying Martinez isn't doing great things. He does do great things. I admit it. But he also does really bad things at bad times in games. Three games this year he has hurt the team tremendously with his turnovers. Illinois: Would have had a halftime lead, nope. Michigan State, nope. Michigan, nope.
  14. Why do you ignore the fact that he had two chances to win/tie the game at the end and he couldn't get it done. No one else made any mistakes on those drives. He fumbled after a first down run and then completely whiffed on the final 4 plays.
  15. He's just not a winner. The game was in his hands on 2 consecutive drives and he just cannot finish. He CANNOT do it. It doesn't happen just once, it is an established pattern. He does great things, but when the game is on the line, bye bye.
  16. Okay, well how about on the final drive when he missed an open Allen on first down. Overthrew a receiver on second down. Then threw a yolo bomb on 4th down. Third down was a terrible play call and decision.
  17. He was a running back. There is no low hit on a running back. He just fumbled the ball like usual. Running backs get hit low all the time and don't fumble. Michigan had several plays go on a long time before the whistle blew and didn't fumble. Bottom line: he fumbled and we lost as a result.
  18. LOL LOL LOL BAD LUCK?????????????? It's bad decision making, bad game planning, bad execution, bad preparation, bad attitudes, and most importantly, bad coaching.
  19. List of trick plays in every coach's playbook: Bootleg pass/run Play action pass Roll out pass/run Hand off to the blocking fullback Tricky, tricky.
  20. I just don't know how there can be such a difference of opinion when watching the same games. It's sad that Martinez could not be more successful this year, but watching the games made it obvious that he just didn't have it. Both McCaffrey and Vedral look to have more energy and confidence. I just don't see what you people are watching. McCaffrey's touchdown was not a trick play at all. It was a sprint out pass thrown perfectly for a touchdown.
  21. I want to believe that they play the best player/whoever gives them the best chance to win. I have been coaching all my life and that is the way it's supposed to be. But the eye test. Just watch the games and it doesn't follow. Martinez doesn't have fire, makes poor decisions, is very slow.
  22. Nebfan, If you can't see the difference in the entire team when Luke plays, then you have blinders on. The confidence that Luke shows is so evident when he runs the offense.
  23. Ales, Husker players for 1000 please.Slow runner, poor passes, poor decisions, no fire. Alex, who is....?
  24. ???????????????????????????????????????????????
